Oh they dont put up with it. They just dont know there is a alternative. From what they hear, Linux is a OS for hippies which only geeks who live in their parent's basements can use.
Gentoo works well on any hardware. Probably because its source based. With a binary based distros you have to make a decision about how much hardware your going to support.
What about other blurred locations then?
What annoys me is all you need is a calculator to work out the White House's gps coordinates from surrounding data points.Blurring only stops the terrorists who cant do math.
Only 1000 spam a week? Lucky. :(
His company *did* miss it. They are still playing catch up.
Ooh! I've always wanted to blacklist AOL's IP space. Thanks to these new honey pots I don't even have to do anything. :D
It helps people find porn who want it and it helps people avoid porn who dont want it.Win win.
And since when has that stopped anyone? They'll try anyway.
Personally I think its a bit of both.We certainly contributed but it was going to happen anyway.
Yeah if you put up walls then someone will see if they can tear them down.I for example enjoy messing with certain MMORPGs as a hobby. Its very theraputic. :)
Would a website which was basically just a database full of constantly updated title keys be legal if it wasnt hosted in the US?FOSS HD-DVD/Blu-ray players could just query it to play any movie of their choice.
Each model of hardware player has the same key. They dont all have unique keys.If I break one hardware dvd player and they decide to revoke its key then all of the players break which are the same model.
You just know someone is going to get sued for putting a feature like that in.
Oh its secure when installed a computer. Super secure even.Just as long as that computer has no input or output devices that is.
Shh! Your giving them ideas!Next we'll be 'licencing' our computers instead of owning them.
I had only thought about this. I didnt get around to making it.For the TIs you can in theory make a small infrared transmitter to talk to other calculators instead of a link cable. If it had its own battery then it could probably go a fair distance. :)
Yep the Palms rock.My mum has a T3, my sister has a TX and I have a LifeDrive. We are all very happy with them. And my mum doubted me when I told her to avoid the Windows based ones. ;)
Those web developers come from Universities which just so happen to get free Microsoft software.
While I'm sure Vista will be installed everywhere I'm not too sure about what will happen after Vista.Linux is getting more and more polished and Windows upgrades are becoming less and less worthwhile.Sooner or later the scales will tip.
It all depends on what the first normal users think of it.If your average user buys a new PC with Vista on it and he doesnt like it then he'll tell his friends to avoid Vista.
But you can beta the service pack right now!Whats that? Vista's not even on the shelves yet?
Whats with your spelling of 'Chinese'?
Programmers should be artists if they are making a art program.Duh.
Yeah I'm sure that figure doesnt include people who never installed it.
