I am of greater than average intelligence and the "calculus" you speak of is completely incomprehensible to me. You must really think highly of yourself if you think that just because you're good at something everyone else must be good a it or they aren't of even "average intelligence."
Mod me a troll if you want, but you know I'm right.
Just because it's all the rage to claim American students are stupid, public schools suck, bla bla bla, it is in most cases not supported by the evidence.
Here come all the people giving examples of bad schools yet completely ignoring the fast majority of fine schools.
"The South Ossetians have wanted to split from Georgia for 10+ years now via several democratic votes, and identify themselves with the Russians ("
People keep saying this...and? We in the U.S. had a civil war over some states that tried to leave our Union. Sure, they had the right to try, but as American land the federal government had every right to go to war with them to stop it. Georgia has every right to keep their land, by war if necessary.
Holy shit, YOU ARE THE ARROGANT ONE. People on slashdot seem to have an interesting mental issue where they take faults that they in fact have and project it onto others who they don't agree with.
Pretty fucked up.
Way to ignore all the huge protests we've had in the last few years. Oh yeah, that's really a lot of "apathy." Good job spouting a cliche, too bad it's not true.
Just because you agree with the laws and still break them doesn't mean others have to. What you basically said is that nobody has the right to disagree with a law that you don't disagree with. They can break it, but GOD FORBID they actually disagree with the existence of said law.
Something's wrong with your reasoning, and it shouldn't be too hard for you to figure out what.
There is absolutely nothing unfair about it. You don't like paying for those people? Too bad. You buy insurance, you understand that you are paying for other people's health until you need it. You don't get to say that others can't continue the lifestyle they want because it might cost you money. There's a very easy way to fix that, cancel your insurance you entitled moron.
I am also an atheist. Newsflash, most athiest know more about your faith than you do. In fact, many of us even have degrees in it and study it for a living.
I HAVE studied them, for years, and you are wrong. My undergraduate degree is in religious studies working on finishing my PhD in the same. I have extensively researched many different researchers' work ranging from academics in religious studies to historians/historians of religion and even geologists, as well as done much of my own published research.
There is very little to no historical support for anything miraculous in the New or Old Testament, including the existence of the Christian prophet nor the escape of a large amount of people from Egypt. Anyone who claims there is - is either lying or drastically misrepresenting the data.
Calculus IS part of the standard curriculum in most districts.

There are a fucking ton of articles. Look for yourself.
This is true for early (modern) Olympic athletes. The proper role was to look like one never practices and doesn't need to try. Pretty messed up.

Doesn't change the fact that they are still in Georgia, not Russia.
They attacked. Georgia broke no treaty, as it had already been broken.
Chronic anxiety is a potentially crippling condition, and marijuana can help certain people. How is that ridiculous?
It's not his job to prove a negative assertion, it's YOUR job to prove the assertion. I guess they aren't teaching logic in Japan?
mod up. How is this a troll?
The prime directive was a nice idea but in the real world is complete bullshit that no one should ever stick to.
Wow what FUD. No one is selling anyone's lives, they are taking pictures of public places.

Nothing he said remotely deserves your response. You clearly have some ideological problem, but that's purely YOUR problem.

Who are you to question that? You don't know him. That's just a whole bunch of other fallacies.
Too bad we have a bunch of idealogues voting down your posts. You can and should know that there are many of us who do support Jason and what he did.

Could this be more stupid? All you idiots downloading the same file over and over have fun.
I would have a huge problem with that, as I know for a fact many others would.

Untrue. You can absolutely post and entire document if the entire thing is newsworthy.
