    Then you should get it in writing, because if you have a note explicitly telling the teacher not to confiscate the camera, then you are safe.

    No you'll find that the cellphone will be held by the school for a set period of time according to how badly you disrupted the class.

    It is a GPL violation which means that those developers of the other two IM programs couldnt be arsed to write their own code from the specs or reverse engineer the network traffic but simply stole the code that the people at Miranda, who did it for free and slapped a price lable on it.

    Deer Park is so that it ISNT CALLED FIREFOX. If anything is badly wrong and it bears firefox branding then it is bad press but if it is an alpha build that is called by another name then there is no risk.

    The NT kernal used probably would be unable to support viruses becuase it has NO WAY of downloading content/files from other users unless it has been put into XBOX live. There would be virus scanning on the server but I seriously doubt that the bit of the WINNT5 kernal used to send emails remains in there.

    It is still totally irelavent in most of Europe, it might mean A LOT to Americans but the Olympics surely gets more viewers or maybe the World Cup (football AKA Soccer).

    Get over it, the EU has a different sense of humour to the US.

    They are not awful they are just not suited to your tastes. Slashdot is mainly American so will be expecting them to be US centric which they are not. The humour is not American but it is still funny. They have had a good effect in their TARGET audience, is that not what matters?

    Adding the fairly liquid would let the water and oil mix both killing the fish and destrying the "rig".
    It would be fundamentally stupid to do so, but... ...so is pouring sunflower oil on your pc.

    They also break an awful lot, I have one on contract and (it is insured) but it has had to be sent in several times to be replaced.

    No in the UK its 2mbps as of this month, depending on provider. Seriously we're going to 20mbps by the end of the decade.

    No, they would patent it 20 years before it became viable which it isn't at the moment. When time travel is invented it will be temporally propagated to where/whenever it was/is/will be viable to build.
