  1. Doom 3 saves the "crumbling" 3d game market on Why Haven't 3D Graphics Surpassed 2D Game Art? · · Score: 0

"2D games handle collision detection (or the interaction between two characters or objects) better than 3D games do"

Doom 3 features pixel - by - pixel collision detection, so your bullets can go over the zombies' shoulders or between their legs, rather than the entire enemy being treated as a solid rectangular prism. So boo yah to 2D crappy games

  2. Free Games for the masses! on Game Pricing Trends Examined · · Score: -1, Troll

Games should be free, with the cost of the system jacked up like a million dollars. Then, we could build our own systems and take all the free games.

Yeah. Do you really need to be able to move your windows around at the push of a button with your extraordinarily expensive wall? Or do you just want a $300 pane of glass with $60 curtains covering the wall? HMMMM? I think some of these inventions are just dumb. Like powdered water. And those little fuzzy things you stick to your dashboard... Weebls, I think there called. Why don't they make Bobs and Monkeys and Donkeys and Kevins and Harry Lees to go with the Weebls?

Yeah, see, I got hired because I hacked their database and made it better, but I kinda left my IPA behind, and they contacted me, and said they wanted to talk. I was scared, but I went down anyways. They said that they'd been trying to figure out how to access their database for months to no avail. And they were actually allowed to. So, they had a little interview as a formality, and then they hired me to manage the database. Tada!

Microsoft's version of HTML. It makes a mockery of W3C standards.

  7. And xbox 1 one was good how? on Microsoft's Rush To Xbox 2 A Danger? · · Score: -1, Troll

Xbox 2 better have some kinda kick-ass graphics before i buy. I'll stick with gamecube, thnk you very much. Plus, at the rate MS is going, Xbox 2's will have two each be shipped in their own seperate trucks. I mean come on, it's a console, not a PC. Consoles do not need to be that big! And MS didn't really create the graphics abilities of Xbox, they bought the right to use Nvidia graphics cards in them. PS2 and GCN's graphics cards were made just for games. Point: If MS is going to make a new Xbox, then they should make it themselves.
