Big media certainly isn't gonna report anything controversial, without vast amounts of riches my single vote is powerless. The internet is all we have.

I was talking to a friend of mine about this the other day and his attitude was like "I have nothing to hide, if that's what it takes to capture terrorists then I'm all for it".

True, the QWERTY wasn't exactly designed with ergenomics in mind (rather to prevent the keys from jamming on early typewriters), unlike the Dvorak layout. I actually used a Dvorak for a short period and taught myself to type on one (albeit slowly) it eventually proved far too annoying being the only guy in the known universe to be using one of these.

PCs don't just go bad, components go bad. The quality of any given PC can be determined by the quality of the components therein.

Apple has complete quality control of their hardware, whereas with x86 PCs any manufacturer can throw together whatever crap meets their bottom line, throw it all in a 'cool' case, print a bunch of big numbers on the outside of the box and watch the lemmings flock bearing their wallets.

If you want a quality PC then you need to spend the equivalent you'd spend on a Mac or hand pick each and every component and build your own like I do.
