No, that is because Windows doesn't properly read the memory usage. Tweaking it to read it properly and to limit the cache size, it uses about 35MB here for about 25 tabs. Thats about 15 times more memory efficient than IE.
Thats a common proxy bug, actually, and the person who we all "appear" to be logged in as at Futuremark is St34lthW4rrior, a guy I actually know. No, we aren't actually logged in as him--its simply how the page is cached, and as our school proxy causes this problem basically every day, I'm used to it. Just disable it for dynamic pages such as forums.
As probably a prime example, I loved the series.hack//SIGN. In particular,.hack//SIGN contains basically no action whatsoever and hardly anything interesting happens until the end of the series. But it was extremely entertaining... because of the suspense, mystery, and storyline. I don't watch movies for the special effects--I watch them for the entertainment value. I.e. the story. Just like I don't play games for the graphics--in that case Doom 3 must be a billion times better than say, Civilization, right?
I really hope directors are reading this. They still cannot understand that story is the most important thing in a movie. No matter how good anything else is, without story and good acting, its all bullshit. Matrix Revolutions is great proof of this.
1. Cheap.
2. No proprietary formats required.
3. No "DRM."
4. Reliable, built to last, long battery life.
5. Connects to my machine without drivers, i.e. acts like an external hard disk.
Please, just that. And I'll buy it. No need for fancy buttons or stylishness. I'm currently using an HD Lyra 20GB--it satisfies most of those. Its damn cheap (costs under 100USD now), it uses plain old MP3s, it doesn't even support most DRM, its built like a tank, and acts like an external hard disk. However it still requires drivers, isn't very reliable, and has mediocre battery life.
I used to watch TLC. But now TLC is a bunch of reality show BS. I used to watch Star Trek. But Next Generation has become Enterprise, and I don't care for homogenized crap. I used to watch Stargate, but it got to the point where I didn't care if the Wraith killed all the humans or not.
Of course at that point I found that, contrary to my previous experience, there was such thing as good Anime. Ever since I discovered this, I haven't watched a single second of TV.../me flips back to Ghost in the Shell:SAC 2nd GIG Episode 17...
The InfoCon is currently set at psychadelic purple-green in response to the realization that Windows is still insecure, even now that Longhorn has been out for nearly 3 years, and has reached service pack 23. We originally went to psychadelic purple-green because we were uncertain of the mechanisms that allowed seemingly "secure" systems to be vulnerable to this issue. Now, however, we know of the mechanisms--Microsoft still makes shitty products, and Windows is still buggy and vulnerable.
What the hell does the incompetence of an nVidia chipset have to do with the performance and reliability of an AMD processor? You can simply not us the nForce 4 boards--how does this give the reviewer the right to bash AMD? Or is he just an Intel fanboy?
Oh crap, the article must be encrypted!
Java's BigInteger class handles integers of any size--although its speed is nothing to be envied.
Well it is pretty easy to test--just multiply the two factors. Its a bit hard to fake factors.
There are certain settings in the about:config you can set to fix that ;). Of course it should run fine without tweaking to begin with...

Seems like one of the Unsolved Problems in Physics isn't exactly unsolved anymore.

Just use another DNS server... I use Cox's because Comcast's DNS crashes all the time, and it works perfectly.
And doing the bare minimum counts as being friendly to open source developers?
Even *Microsoft* does what they're legally required to do. If Apple wants to differentiate themselves, they have to do more than the minimum.
Can't you put these components together yourself and save the $5K surcharge?
Yes.
But what entertains me is the story.

Yup, it does! Thats the point. What I'm hoping is that those who haven't figured it out, do. As in Sony, etc.

PARENT IS NOT A TROLL. PARENT IS INSIGHTFUL. Mod up please? I'd do it myself if I had mod points.
Thermite.
Yes I know its a TV show, but:
1. Its not American TV (which is reality show bullshit). 2. Its not covered with ads and junk.
I don't know why they insist that to get CNN, you have to buy the Home Shopping Network also. Who watches that crap anyways?
It could wipe out humanity. The specials are fact. Its just that the probability is, thank god, pretty damn low.

In Korea, Soviet robots use old people!
Oh wait...
Creationists.
*ducks*
First Britannica takes over Wikipaedia, and now, one week later, Encarta announces wikification? What a world we live in!
more like sp1 m i rite?
Holy shit, I think my head just exploded.

In other news, water is wet.
