How come its not ANSARI X PRIZE anymore ? Arent you forgetting something ? He is a BIG contributor to the prize pool, be nice and dont forget about him.
Bruce, just to expand on my question: for instance I am working on enhancing support for SMP in Debian on various architectures, and I had to BEG for hardware from various sources to do my work. Sometimes I wonder why I can't get the resources I need, after all there are people making lots of money off of the work we do.
You are a looser just as the BSD folks. Try to apply for a job in SuSE. You have got to decide, do it for the community for free or go someplace where they pay for code.
>Focusing development in a legal non-profit, >Debian, with 10 years of history of successful >work is better.
debian, development and successful in ONE sentence ? You gotta be kidding, just check repositiories, we dont have a stinkind KDE 3.3 jet... Debian shrebian:/ SuSE is uberleet when it comes to support. Debian is 10 years behind that.
at least not 802.1p , It works on the radio level (PHY)

all you have to do is make sure that multimedia sending device gets their backoff timers boundaries set lower than the rest of the wifi boxes on the channel. That way they will be the first to occupy the band if in need. Thats how Cisco handles QoS in VOIP WiFi phones of theirs. Its 100% compatible with the receiver, only transceiver has to support it. google has it all
As some of you guessed before this whole certification is pointless:) You can do the same in Linux today. Hell, thats how 802.11 DOS works (small traffic occupy whole band, just send first and pretend you send something big)
more like Operator: I'm sorry, but my records show me thay you voted for Kerry, besides you'r black anyway so DIE. beeeeeeeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeeep beeeeeeep

it simply isnt, those are Xeons, they share one bus on the mobo, they cant do NUMA, they SUCK dog balls
well great and dandy, but... but Realtek makes MIPS SoC 200MHz with buildin WiFi under $30, you can get the whole board with WiFi, 2MB flash, 16MB ram and 1-5 RJ45 in NICE packaging AND cardboard box for UNDER $50.. running Linux out of the box, so where exactly is this Dragon going to compete ?
Just browsing the features listed on the Opera page I don't see much that firefox doesn't offer natively or by installing an extension, so I see no real reason to switch and a few good resons not to.
well, where do I start ? - SPEED, opera simply works below 266MHz 64MB under KDE, WORKS not crawls. - SESSION SAVING, you can save your open tabs anytime you like, and get back to them by simply loading a session. When it crashes (well, nobodys perfect) it autosaves session and lets you start browsing from the point before the crash - now THATS a feature I like. - adding NOTES to the pages - ZOOM and Small Screen Rendering or something, no matter what res you got, it WILL render the site ok
and Tabs are EASY to work with, no more Konqeror shit like clicking 3 times to close a tab There is offcourse RSS feed reader and mail client, but ther are medicore (RSS is picked automatically from the page you are viewing if you like)
Opera is INNOVATIVE, when was the last time you saw a new (and I mean a NEW) feautere in Moz/Fire ?? Tabs ? Opera, popup blocking ? Opera. Voice operated browsing ? Opera. Reading pages out loud ? Opera...

just feel lucky you have java in debian, I dont :/ just the way I dont have KDE 3.3 and the newest X.org .. so much for cutting edge testing sarge :/
guess what happends when you start to rotate a space station ...
>On that page they also have a video.
:( but great www
they dont
this list is outdated, it lacks for example GTA 3 and GTA:VC

http://www.brolinembedded.se/projects/keyboard/ no need for a terminal, just plug that thing and you got a PDA
ericsson keypad, you just solder this sucker directly to GBAs aux port plenty of GBA code to handle that one
>Xplanet is safe then! Nice to know :)
like Iraq ?
4 32bit sounds like mmx
in other words they optimized PPC port, bu left AMD unoptimized ? sounds reasonable .. for a Microsoft, but not for such a project ! :/

Our peak rate of
270,147,024 kkeys/sec is equivalent to 32,504 800MHz Apple PowerBook
G4 laptops or 45,998 2GHz AMD Athlon XP machines
ee wtf ? 800MHz PPC faster than 2GHz XP ? dont think so
great, so i click preferences > Homepage and select exclude Politics .. and id doesnt work, thats neat

thers one BUT, that Emacs he sold .. it wasnt exactly a GNU one, but someones else property. He simply stole that code. RMS is a very BAD mofo.
mouse gestures, how could i forget that one :)
offcourse its nothing super now since KDE has them build in
