No, I don't have kids. However, my father raised two boys that did not throw tantrums if they didn't get what they wanted. I expect to use the same methods he used to raise my future kids.

No, they can "require" that I submit to a search to remain on their property. If I say "no" on my way out, all they can do is tell me to leave, which is exactly what I was trying to do in the first place.

I believe there is a disclaimer near the front of the store that anyone entering the store may be subject to search (especially if the security alarm has gone off -which may or may not be your case). So by just stepping foot on to their property they can search you with reasonable suspicion.

At their discretion too, they can choose to detain you till the police arrive if they believe you have stole something.

It's a balance of rights, your right against search and seizure, and their right to protect their property. Sometimes "rights" lose.

I guess it depends on circumstance. If I just walked into a store, got a 360 and took it home and it didnt work, sure I would return it. But if I waited in line 6 hours, fought customers just to purchase a broken item for my kid who is crying, then if I called Microsoft and got the run around, hell yeah I would sue. Of course I dont have the whole story, so he could just be wanted to cash in.

Maybe those kids are spoiled and should be brought up not to whine and cry because they don't always get what they want.

This isn't simply the nature of BitTorrent - other clients run far more smoothly.

Maybe there are reasons for this that aren't directly related to Java. Maybe Azureus just isn't very well-written, or maybe it's just feature-bloated. Maybe the Windows JVM just stinks.

I have not noticed anything that you describe. My Azureus runs just as fast as anything else I have running at that time. In fact, I can even work on several photoshop items at the same time I'm using Azureus and have not experienced any slight slow down or sluggishness.

There are lots and lots and lots of "white men" from countless other parts of the world.

I'm not saying it isn't an inflammatory statement. However, for Natives at the time, they didn't know where these invaders came from. The only way for them to reference these people was to pick the most *defining* features about them, which is the paler skin colour. Also, someone probably would describe the hijackers as brown skinned individuals if they have no idea what their backgrounds are.

In addition to that, if you have ever watched old western movies, the Native Indians always referred to the cowboys as "White Man".

Had darker skinned people from Africa settled, or yellow skinned from Asia, I'm sure the Natives would have said "Black man", or "Yellow man" instead. Which has no bearing on those people of the same skin colour today.
