    I read it as 232 metres, which is outstanding. I can't wait to find out how far off the landing actually was.

    I had a different (6502 based) system but my dad bought me the TRS80 BASIC programming book. It was the only BASIC reference I had so I effectively learnt programming from it. Six months later I had exhausted the possibilities of BASIC and got into machine code.

    Also USB cables fit nicely into 9 pin D RS232 connectors. My wife found that one and wanted to know why her mouse wasn't working.

    Three of those companies have gone but their patents must date back to the 1980s at the very latest and somebody owns them for sure. I would love to see Uniloc take on IBM over the Rational license server.

    Thanks. I did find that, but it's still a whole lot of work to make stuff go away.

    I'd love to see it work like Google Reader.

    Yesterday on reddit somebody posted a onion video but when I played it I got an advertisment from the Australian government promoting a google hangout featuring the Prime Minister. I got this because I have a G+ account with all that tasty meta data about myself, and this allows youtube to pick adverts to show me. So its all about the meta data. Its very valuable to google, even if their market penetration is still quite small in comparison to facebook.
