    I use a similar setup to you and I have never seen this happen, even before I set the window manager to focus-follows-mouse.

    I like it. I don't miss gnome 2, Unity is a new desktop environments and it has a few bugs, but I will persist with it.

    Brings to mind the Ben Bova novel where skyscrapers were actually huge rocket boosters. At the slightest hint of an earthquake they flew out into the ocean for a safe splashdown.

    Yeah there is a scandal here in Australia at the moment with a trucking company disabling speed limiters. Corrupting GPS trace information would be the other half of the picture.

    Some applications take a long time to load. Its nice to have something to show you that the program will load eventually. Of course bloat is behind this, but we are stuck with the bloat unfortunately.

    I saw an article about it recently. The velocity change was being attributed to asymetric emission of heat radiation from the spacecraft. But I don't think that was the final word.

    This bit is interesting:

    Other possible targets are Neptune trojans. The probe's trajectory to Pluto passes near Neptune's trailing Lagrange point ("L5"), which may host hundreds of bodies in 1:1 resonance with the planet (the first one, 2008 LC18, was discovered in 2008). If any Neptune trojans are found to be close enough to be studied, observations may be planned. However, spacecraft passage near this Lagrange point comes shortly before the Pluto encounter. Depending on where the object is along the spacecraft trajectory, New Horizons may not have significant downlink bandwidth, and thus free memory, for trojan encounter data.[62]

    People talk about Pluto having been a moon of Neptune once but I wonder if it originated in the Neptune L5 point.

    Malaysia produces it's own oil.

    The problem is they have an Islamic majority including extremists of the Saudi kind.

    Saudi Arabia is also one of the major sources of tourists to Malaysia, as well.

    Malaysia is a Sharia law country, if you are fleeing from Muslim authorities this is the last kind of place you go.

    Malaysia is full of holidaying saudi people, so this was a fairly obvious choice. Additionally there are lots of flights between those two countries.

    Doesn't help you if you just want to access your bank account or email. A tunnel implies somebody ready to operate the other end. If that person existed outside Iran, the Iranian government would quickly block access to them.

    But its use would be so rare in Iran that the police could just arrest and execute anybody in posession of tools which could be used for steganography.

    The best work-around is to simply use computers that aren't connected to you.

    Not an easy thing to do.

    Where I work, yonger guys are going for higher paid management jobs because they need to buy houses. Older guys stay in more interesting and lower paid engineering jobs because they have paid off their house.
