Ditto. I do too. I forgot to mention that I rarely use text web browsers like eLinks. Maybe for very quick check when I don't care for images, formattings, layouts, etc.
I still prefer text e-mail readers (Mutt these days). I don't need fancy GUI, graphics, formatting, etc. Same for IRC and IM clients. Tin, nzbget, wget, aria2c, etc. Yes, I am old school so get off my lawn. Also, they are handy for slow and unstable Internet connections like dial-up for remote connections. Oh and more secured!
I would assume so if Apple doesn't support Mac OS X 10.5.x anymore. I hope disabling Java in web browsers is enough since there's no way to uninstall it because Mac OS X came with it.:(
Why was Minecraft designed for Java anyways? I find that annoying. I can't get rid of Java just yet. Can't it use something else? OK, Flash sucks... Silverlight, ugh.:(
Bah. Still annoying.:P I wonder how often it crashes compared to Adobe's Flash. Flash seriously crashes my Mozilla's SeaMonkey v2 web browsers too much on all of my computers! Heh.
Uh, I don't think covering up a mic will work 100%. You would need to physically disconnect it. That isn't easy since it is internal and would void warranties.:(
Some of us want to watch The Walking Dead, MythBusters, South Park, etc. legally and can't be watched OTA. :P
I always thought satellite TV's feeds were better than cable for HD feeds. I know OTA has the best quality if one can get it where they are.
Because some of us want to see the products in person, same day/a few hours instead of waiting for days, etc.
What about Chinese Americans?
Np. ;)
Defense Contract Management Agency -- http://www.dcma.mil/ ? :P
Prove it. /.ers don't have either! :P
I will stick with regular cables for non-portable devices like desktops. I hate having unstable connections, interferences, etc.
Hehe, yeah that too. Also, to check suspicious web sites. Old school stuff are still useful! :)

Thanks. I did not know there was a Java Preferences in Utilities section. I will check it out when I see my client's old MacBook Pro. :)
If you haven't watched BBS Documentary series, then do so!

Nice typo. :P

That's annoying to do with portable devices. Does the user really want to do that everytime? :(
Bah, restarting web browser? Annoying. :P

Do they work with all Flash sites out there especially games and videos like Hulu, Vimeo, YouTube, DailyMotion, etc.?
But we hate cloud. :P
I wonder if MS will patch Office 2008 Mac on older Mac OS X like 10.5.8.
Professor Farnsworth, is that you? :P
Fried? :D
