Speaking of BBS' (fun days!), does anyone know if there are Web sites that keep ANSI art archives (with search engines)? I am trying to find cool ANSI arts that I used to love. I even drew a few (not that great) I regret not keeping them. I miss them.:(
You probably heard this one before. Just to be sure for those who haven't heard it... According to Dark Horizons news (5/29/2002), it said:
Star Wars: Episode VII: After recent speculation based on what sounded like a misinterpreted quote, George Lucas has finally and clearly ruled out further adventures after 'Jedi'. Lucas told Infobeat that he had PREVIOUSLY CONSIDERED the idea but has since canned it totally - "I thought it might be fun to bring Carrie (Fisher) and Mark (Hammill) and Harrison (Ford) back when they're 65 and make another movie with them. But I'm going to be over 60 when I finish this and it takes 10 years to do a trilogy. I'm not going to spend my last 10 years doing Star Wars".
Because I have a contract work so I don't really get paid vacation days/sick days. I would have done it, but since the job market is bad, I decided not to. It is weird that pretty much everyone at my employer, Symantec, was at work. And there are a lot of geeks!
Now that it is weekend, I have a nasty cold (aching body) and I can't go:(.
Yeah, but I want to play it at 1280x1024 with everything ON:). Of course, with decent FPS (higher than 25). My old machine is a P2 300 with G400 32 MB:). The gaming machine is a P3 600.
Link: "I saw CLONES two weeks ago up at George's. For the record, of all the STAR WARS they've made, this is my second favorite just ehind EMPIRE," Spielberg told us. "It was great. The action scenes looked like George had been inspired by James Cameron because they were as good as any of the action scenes in T2, and I think George did his best directing with this one too."
Well, it should be better than The Phantom Menace (episode 1) then.:)
I work for Symantec in testing Norton Internet Security products, and we, testers, use it all the time. It's a great product. I used to do Web testing, and it was great for that too.:)
I am happy with my 7.1 and 7.2 installations. I do a lot of updating with programs I use like OpenOffice, GKrellM, Lopster, GNOME, KDE (KDE3 now) etc.
Are there anything in 7.3 worth that will want me to upgrade? From what I saw, nothing is really new except updated components. I will install 7.3 from scratch if I ever had to reinstall due to a HDD failure or something.
It no longers uses the boring 2D sprites for enemies. It is all polygons like Quake games. The author basically replaced them with 3D models. They are VERY nice.:)
If you can't stand the original DOOM graphics, then try JDoom with pretty graphics and effects. I had a blast replaying episode 1, 2, and DOOM II. It uses the original WAD files so you still need the original DOOM games!
Sorry, no Linux port (only Windows):(. Bug the author for one though;).
- Zmodem was the way to transfer files (I still use it in Linux with CRT!)
- HS/Link came along with bi-transfer support and chat during transfer
- Procomm/Qmodem/Telemate(sp?)
- Busy signals and redialing
- BBS mods like WWIV
- MUD
- Playing DOOM multiplayer (more than two players) the first time with Game Connection with MajorBBS
- You knew what "rodent" (think lamer) meant.

Thanks in advance.

If so, then those aren't ants
Now, O'Reilly needs an ant ;).

My friend said DLP is not being shown so the lists are wrong. :(
not hah hah.
I said "should" in my sentence. ;)
Don't forget. You should be able to see this teaser trailer when you see Star Wars: Attack of the Clones movie.

I used to have a G400 and still use it. It used to be for my desktop and games, but I moved it to my Linux server. Still an awesome card.

I dislike its interface too. I rarely use Xine since I like Mplayer's GUI better.
user getting frustrated with computers. :)
How about for people who don't print a lot? I rarely use the printer these days.
How is that? I usually use Linux as a workstation and play Q3A and RTCW.
You can use red-carpet if you are GNOME user to get Mozilla, Evolution, and other updates.

Junta: I tried that one before. I just didn't like staring at the sprite images :). The polygon models in jDoom rock.
Yeah, but it is not fun as jDoom with the nice graphics :).
