Star Wars: Broken Allegiance: It's decent for a homemade video. It got space fights, light saber (kind of cheesy but hey it's homemade), Darth Vader, stormtroopers, forces, and long (23 minutes!). Crank up your bass, you bass freaks!
I was still using old XFree86 (4.0.3-5) and compiled Kernel 2.4.9 (didn't want to upgrade Kernel and X yet). Anyways, I wanted to install KDE3 from scratch so I uninstalled KDE2.2.1(?) packages. I installed most of the RPMs needed for KDE3.
I managed to get it to work, but some things crashes like Control Center's Fonts. Someone told me to compile qt libraries from source, and it took abou six hours. Eventually, this works. KDE3 appears to be working when I used it for ten minutes.
I still think I will be dealing with dependency issues as you noted.:(
Since I will try uninstalling KDE...

Does anyone have the list of KDE packages that I need to dump? Obviously, rpm -qa |grep kde would be a start, but I think there are other KDE packages aren't obvious.
Thank you in advance.:)
What's the correct way to upgrade my KDE?

I have Red Hat Linux 7.1 and 7.2 boxes. What's the correct way to upgrade from KDE v2.2.1 and v2.2.2? Should I uninstall KDE packages and then install or use rpm -Uvh?
Yeah, I remember it. It was so hard! I only got to the underground. I think Firehawk (sequel) was cool and too easy. I hated the ending boss (dumb idea)!
Yeah, Voltron would be nice. I loved that show as a kid. I didn't like the newer version (CGI).
I think it was Pepsi commercial with Max Headroom. :)
I saw it in Burbank, CA. I couldn't believe how many stars in space. Wow. :)
Right here. It is world-wide. I am not sure how often the list is updated. I believe Wired's list is more updated for this movie.

A bit off-topic... Released today on TV and Starwars.com. It had a few new scenes.
Don't forget comp.sys.laptops newsgroup to read users' reviews. Definitely use groups.google.com :).
I wonder if he will find out in the last few episodes? I think he is the last person to know. :(
Yep! That's the one! Someone mod this thread up ;).
Yes, it was in Wired magazine. I can't remember if Wired put it online (Web version) or not.
Live ants especially. Any recommendation for low prices for me? Thank you in advance. :)
:)
Wow, the author replied! :). Thanks, and good job!
I only looked at the pictures, but did the author say how much the finished product weight? :)
To remove the old packages and install the new ones, run:
/where/you/downloaded/the/KDE3/RPMS
:(
cd
rpm -e `rpm -qa |egrep ^kde`
rpm -Uvh *rpm

My local cable plant is so outdated and Adelphia refuses to upgrade it quickly. I only get max of 30KB/sec during peak hours. :(
I have a minor speech impairment (not very clear) so it would probably be useful to me. :)

Don't forget http://www.scene.org as well :).
Thanks 56ker, too bad there's no new information. It is still showing Rosewell. :)
Ricky, have you checked these two Web sites yet?
