Gee I am sorry if our definition of "liberal" doesn't match your own, or the rest of the planet as you say. From the view of the voting US citizen there is a distinct "liberal" and "conservative" spectrum which more or less reflects our society. It is a relative term that means something to the average US citizen, so get over it. When we all start participating in the next "planet" wide election we can iron that out.

I disagree with your opinion. Doing away with the Electorial College totally in favor of popular vote, would simply shift power in favor of the few states with the highest populations. So instead of the current 4 to 5 battle ground states, you would have New York and California with their large urban population in complete control.

I think we need to change the all or nothing portion of the system, but we cannot do away with it entirely.

    Just my opinion.

How can F911 be considered for an Academy Award consideration for Best Documentary, when it not really a documentary? Now if there was an award for "Croqumentary", well I think F911 would have a chance. I think MM needs to lookup the definition of "documentary", and then he can lookup the definition of "journalism" and pass that on to his friends in the mainstream media, like CNN (Clinton News Network).

I would like to see some analysis, after this thread cools down, to see if a pattern appears. If a pattern indeed appears, in either direction, I would suggest that, at least in the political arena, the "bias" be removed from the system, and all posts are rated equally. Just a thought.

everything in the documentary was 'facts' How about Moore's accusation that "Bush" allowed members of the Bin Laden family to leave after 911, when Richard Clarke stated clearly that it was his decision to allow them to leave, not Bush's. And he testified to that at the 911 hearings. That is fact. And Moore has never acknowledged this, and if memory serves he did state that he would pay anyone $10,000.00 if they could find a factual error in his "croqumentary". Hmmm I wonder if the check is in the mail...

Michael Moore is a very dangerous person, not only is he a KoolAid drinking left-wing nut, he also makes pitchers (pun intended) of his own brand of loony juice. Instead of adding water, though, his recipe calls for a liberal (again pun intended) dose of lies. I personally don't have a problem with him voicing his opinions, I don't agree with him, but I honestly think he feels he is helping people. (Who I am not quite sure.) However, instead of simply presenting his views, he feels the need to seriously mislead and outright lie to his viewers, which leaves me with absolutely no respect for him. No matter how noble his intensions, the ends do not justify the means.
