I think devices like these have the most potential for the public using Linux. Each one has virtually the same hardware, so there would be no discrepencies with drivers. Appears to be an all around handy little box, and the price is fairly reasonable in my opinion.
Seeing as how you use Gentoo, I'm sure you're very aware that the install-dependencies-automagically thing is very feasable. Hopefully Mandrake, and other distros, will take note of Gentoo in the future and continue to build more onto their great distros.

The screenshots appear to be screenshots of KDE and the mandrake installer.

How can you have screenshots of "Linux"? I guess you can of the installer, but that's about it.
