I don't even have a TV... all I need (and want) is my monitor.... and blueray players for computers are expensive. Doubly (triply rather) so for those who can write.
Especially a write-up. If you toss write-ups around for understandable and completely normal behavior, then you'll find yourself being excluded. Everyone will start hiding shit from you, afraid of the Long Arm of the Law (yarp!) instead of considering you what you actually are - there to help everyone else do their job.
You, my friend (not you synth, you're right on... the gp I mean) are exactly what is wrong with IT management these days.
Which is why vendors can ask to have returns shipped to them - so they can process keys etc. Hell there's no reason they can't ask the retailer to send the key to them immediatly for revocation.
Fucking slashdot. I can't fix my spelling BECAUSE I CAN'T FUCKING RIGHT CLICK ANYMORE.... will you STOP breaking your code in production?
It's good that they chose 48fps then, because if that becomes and issue, they need only drop every other frame. Easy to do that, while it's definitely NOT easy to go the other way. Being exactly 2x what it used to be, also means there's no weird math (eg the NTSC 2/3 frame stutter) to make it ugly.
You probably would have been able to get an exchange, which is what you would have wanted anyway.
After all, what good is it to copy a game, and exchange it for the game you just copied? It only makes sense to deny the return if it's in exchange for cash, credit, or a different product.
You know we already use destructive interference to quiet our engines somewhat?
See, once you figure out the characteristics of the sound, you then alter the exhaust (typically) to channel as much of the noise as you can. You then need to fold back the reflections at just the right point, and a shockingly large portion of the sound will cancel itself out.
... doing preciously nothing, if someone happens to have that first key... because they don't NEED your key to decrypt the data if they have that already.
Thank you for pointing this out. The Church != Christianity, and I'm also sick of people who can't understand this simple idea.
disclaimer to others: I am a deist, and not very strongly subscribed at that. Keep that in mind when you try to pigeonhole my statement instead of accepting what I wrote.

It's a compromise*. The problem is that we just want our way, we don't want to compromise.
* - I didn't say it was a good one...

Yea, because willow bark tea is so high-tech.

Good compromise.
Returns and exchanges are different things...

Stores haven't used AM/FM in, oh, forever. They use satellite, streaming, or a static system (eg, a Muzak box hidden away somewhere).
Something tells me our materials science and design skills have improved somewhat since the V1 was put into use under such duress...

Too bad, you're still not fucking getting it. Deal with it.

Yes, I get that.
But peer review does not define that, it's merely a means to that end.
Why is this a problem? There are already clearly defined rules for sorting alphanumeric strings.
You seem to have replied to a spam robot.
Dear Sony,
If you want to be treated in a civilized manner, then perhaps you should behave as if you are civilized yourself.

I can't even right click now. $DEITY knows how I've been keeping my spelling in check without being able to use the spell.... check.
Wait, what? They all sound the same anyways! Every blasted one of the little bastards sounds the same! Such an evil sound!
Apologies, but I still do not see how journals or peer reviews have anything to do with the scientific process itself.

Crime is not a definite thing, like streets, roads, or the internet. It's an idea.
... and that designates one a scientist how?
Well, then you have to go about defining "naturally."
Lets start. I promise you'll see soon what a quagmire such a simple suggestion really is...
It's a tiny cheap camera. It will have a cheap sensor and a cheap lens.
... and don't forget the dust/dirt/oil/lint/etc that will inevitably be scumming up that nice cheap arrangement.
If you don't have a lens cover or a case for it, it's not a camera worth caring about.
Interesting. Apparently your (or I?) are no longer allowed to post HTML anchor links. Sorry, just look it up on Wikipedia.
