I don't think digital will ever "surpass" film, as with any analog->digital transformation you loose data. Not that it will practically matter soon.

Now that's an interesting idea... I think I might need to try that out with something simple (say, minesweeper)
Since you are decompiling, you could theoretically decompile to any language of your choosing, correct? I understand the output is ugly either way.
Would it be as simple as sticking an include for winelib and then dealing with super-secret-api stuff on a per-case basis? Or would this be more involved?
After a release, Debian does not alter packages with the exception of security updates. It's an intended policy. If you want something fresher, go elsewhere or use Sid. Note however, that Debian Stable is likely to be very secure, comparatively.
I think a better solution: Receivers in cars that can be triggered by emergency vehicles. Light starts pulsing when nearby, to clue the driver into looking around or turning their music down to hear.
Sure, it would be spoofable, but since all it does is light up a caution light... what's the real harm? I would say the gains would be worth it.
It has nothing to do with the opinion, but the manner in which the opinion is presented.
These posts don't match up with his/her normal level-headedness and style, which makes this even more WTFy.
What the hell is your problem today? Do you work in the advertising industry or something? If you do, I have no sympathy for you.
Too bad. I don't want to see advertisements. At all.
Doesn't work on me. I notice the advertisements, and they almost universally irritate me.
Fine with me. It's hard to ignore billboards and TV ads. Web ads don't even get loaded for me, let alone displayed.
Heh, the hard part is getting the U235 and handling it safely. Any monkey can hop on the internet and learn what to do with it.
Oh, and no. You need two subcritical masses, which when shot together are critical or supercritical.
(this is nothing you can't glean from wikipedia)
I'm sure I'm marked as well. Oh well, I always do enjoy crapping up the Signal:Noise.
The net installer keeps breaking when they play with the repo signing keys. Don't use a net installer for testing. Try this RC instead.
That's why setagllib recommends firing up a VM.
QEMU is a good place to start.
If this is new to you, this is a good place to start reading.
There's more life out there than you think. Almost anywhere you go with shallow water, this will be a problem.
Yea, but that's still just under half my damn yearly earnings.
Cheaper please! Mere mortals would like to play!
You do realize that's normal right? They need massive storage for CG as well.
Yes, but who would print something like that at 200dpi? You want at least 600dpi.
So, at 600dpi, about 4 feet by 1.3 feet. Still pretty damn big.

What kind of performance do you see on that thing?

I think I speak for a good portion of us with the following:
WANT!
There's no reason Debian devs can't examine/use patches from Ubuntu.

Could you?! I've been running low, and have been trying to conserve.
(at this point I'm just yanking your chain)
See my sig. Tags are not useful at all, and I am here to provide you a solution.
Water, and the stuff floating in it, absorb light.
Fix your fucking bot or get rid of it!
