You could look beyond the raw text of what I wrote, use a wee bit of brain power, and understand exactly what I meant. And if you don't, you could try responding without that patronizing tone. Because after that, ANYTHING you say/write in response will be discounted. Good way to win an argument, that!
Punishments hardly fit the crime here. They are frequently proportional to the social taboo rating of the offense, with a coefficient for "example making."
Me either. I think perhaps the detached stage being right-up-in-your-business with the next stage may have interfered with it's thrust, but not being a rocket scientist I think I'm reaching far past my understandings.
Bottom stage detached, continued burning. Less mass against the thrust, it accelerated and pushed on the top stage (but not perfectly centered as it would when still attached).
I'm sure they do communicate, but after detaching that's gone.
Basically the thruster(s) dieseled - continued running for a moment after fuel/whatever was cut.
The digital data in an "analog" music CD does not have to be read perfectly, and errors can be interpolated out. You can't do that with "data" cds, for obvious reasons.
I'm not much of a chatter, so the only acronyms I tend to remember are the really simple ones like 'ty' 'btw.' I generally don't use them. I'm far to verbose!
I have no idea what those two acronyms mean, sorry.
But yes, I think your right about the cause of the issue. Simply not enough blood to run through the machine and the baby at the same time. A transfusion at the same time would be a bit complicated, dangerous, wasteful, and messy.
No, this uses energy with fuel to function. What your asking isn't be very far from asking "will an electric motor generate electricity in a cost efficient way?"
Most likely an RTG would be used, but one "hotter" and shorter lived than what deep space 1 had. After all, it would only need to last a year at most rather than the years upon years the cooler ones go.
When I can generate a PDF file as easily as "ps2pdf inputfile.ps", this means that PDF creation is no issue. Postscript is hardly unsupported. Reading PDFs? Do you have ANY idea how many options you have for that?
Now... Flash - as much as I hate the idea of it being "standard", I agree with you on this one.
Well, what about us who just don't like people knowing who they are? It's not like I have anything to hide - I can't say I would be embarrassed or uncomfortable with anything I've attached to this name. But just like I don't walk around with my driver's license pinned to my shirt, I don't want my identity freely given to anyone with eyes - I want to give it out myself and mind who has it. Joe Schmuck doesn't need to know my name.
Just because you have nothing to hide, doesn't mean it's wrong to hide.
cdparanoia is just the ripper though. Usually you want to use it in conjunction with ID3 taggers, cddb stuff, etc.
I use 'abcde' - a better cd encoder. There are others also, just use your package manager to see what packages depend/recommend/suggest/whatever the cdparanoia package.
Q: What exactly is a line-doubling DVD player?
A: Progressive scan from an interlaced source.
Hardly something that should be mentioned... you know, we've had progressive for quite a long time now, and from experience most DVDs are interlaced.
Patronizing ftw!

Sounds like an overreaction. Hell, it might not have even been on, and he was just saying that to play with you. Perhaps he even thought you were her.
Sorry, we're just well conditioned into the response. "Oh, government fucked up? Must be ours..."

Um, you just said the same thing. By generating electricity you... generate electricity??
An electric motor and generator are the same thing, only the input is swapped.
Thats not what I meant.

Hmm, true. But, I bet a renderfarm on this would be awesome!
Being a supercomputer, I would imagine it could play Crysis comfortably in a pure virtual machine, emulating a graphics card as well.
Hmm. I have story icons off and that still showed up.
Now, what if there was some reason I had those turned off? Would I have been unable to properly read the front page until it pushed off the bottom?
Bad Taco, bad!

Hmm, I was thinking of voyager. Not sure about deep space 1 then!

Oh, I would think there would be more than two tablespoons... that doesn't seem right to me.
Have we considered the option that no meme is required?
I wonder, aggregate across the internet - how much storage, energy, and bandwidth is wasted by pointless memes?
Most likely an RTG would be used, but one "hotter" and shorter lived than what deep space 1 had. After all, it would only need to last a year at most rather than the years upon years the cooler ones go.
No. Will this 'joke' blend?

Strippers don't usually screw random people, so I would say the stripper is MUCH more innocent than Big Bubba Insurance, Inc.
Unless they sell life insurance, in which the dead may be much more costly.
