    Addendum--CD sales went up during the Napster era. Singles sales went down but that's because nobody wants to pay five dollars for a single song. Oh, and I don't support P2P piracy but I do support giving your CDs to friends to put on their iPods.

    You're saying this as a joke but it's true. CDs provide the artists with about three cents per album if even that. Going to a concert, something you're more likely to do if you download, gets the artists much more money. Like the full fifty dollars you paid for the concert.

    Craps: You throw the dice and they never land.
    Solution to that is easy: MAGNETS!
    Blackjack: The dealer throws out a card and it keeps spinning in the air.
    I'm sure some sort of dealing machine could be devised that doesn't have this problem.
    Roulette: Might work. It will just be a while before the wheel spins down.
    I thought it was air resistance and not gravity that slowed down a roulette wheel...

    Actually, if he's a patent lawyer he might have to actually be able to understand the patents, which requires Math and Physics. And a degree in one or the other is required for a patent lawyer--so he just saved 3 years of his life.
