Now that's a lie. I think most of the people singling Google out for privacy are stupid(everyone else regularly does much worse and nobody calls them up on it) but there are quite a few non-MS-lovers who think Google is evil. The obvious one is the GoogleWatch guy although he's mostly mad that nobody linked to his website so he got no PageRank.

Marxism is the opiate of dumbasses - Wow, you completely misunderstood Marx's metaphor. You see, when Marx said that religion is the opiate of the masses he was talking about how believing that justice will come in the afterlife made people less likely to stand up and take action. Believing in Marxism makes people more likely to stand up and take action. Which make it not an opiate. Ergo, you fail.

From "The Unlikeliest Cult in History":

What is it about Rand's philosophy that so emotionally stimulates proponents and opponents alike? Before Atlas Shrugged was published, at a sales conference at Random House a salesman asked Rand if she could summarize the essence of her philosophy, called Objectivism, while standing on one foot. She did so as follows (1962):

    1. Metaphysics: Objective Reality
    2. Epistemology: Reason
    3. Ethics: Self-interest
    4. Politics: Capitalism
Pretty much what you just said. Ayn Rand complicates things because her target audience likes things complicated. Her target audience likes things complicated because it gives them the excuse of saying that the detractors are just too stupid to understand.
