I installed Arch on my 701, and I have been really happy with it so far. I only have what I need installed on it, and the thing boots in like 20 seconds. There is actually a good article in the works on the Arch wiki on how to set it up on the eee. There are custom kernels that are ready to go and everything. If you know your way around linux good enough, I would recommend giving it a try.
From what I understand about Microsoft and their culture, the problem isn't due to lack of intelligent or creative people, but management stifling their intelligence and creativity.
Rock music has actually evolved quite a bit, it is just mostly underground and away from the mainstream. Mainstream radio and whatnot seems more interested in the bland, "safe", rock.
I really don't understand the obsession of making your non-mac desktop look like a mac. On any site you go to that has themes for Windows, KDE, or GNOME, half of them are Mac-OS lookalikes. My first thought is always to go for something unique. If I had a mac, I would probably try to find a way to give it a different skin, like I do with Windows/KDE/GNOME.
But whatever, it is just a matter of preference I suppose.
Ambien really is crazy. I had to take it after I wasn't able to sleep for 4 days straight (probably due to switching to a 12 hour midnight shift work schedule). I remember waking up one time in the middle of an Ambien induced sleep. I was totally confused. Apparently I thought I was supposed to be doing something important at the time, so I got out of bed, went to my fiance and said, "I am totally supposed to be doing something right now, but I forgot what it was"(What I was supposed to be doing was sleeping, heh). My fiance actually took it once to help with her insomnia, and she said it made her hallucinate a little bit. Since I got my sleeping schedule back in order, I have vowed not to ever take it again unless I am in the situation where I haven't slept for multiple days.
Apparently there are live journal communities dedicated to the recreational use of Ambien. Definately very potent stuff.
Haha, me and my fiance always joke about my supra-orbital ridge, saying that I am actually a Neanderthal. I've never even thought about the occipital bun though, I thought everyone had it.
Well, from one Neanderthal to another, may I say, "Unga Bunga"!
This is actually pretty interesting, because I was actually searching around for some things on vinyl around here, and a lot of places have been getting rid of their collections. One place I went to got rid of all of their's because nobody was buying, another place was having a hugle closeout on all their old stuff. Maybe vinyl just isn't big in the Detroit area?
I have been loyal to AMD for a long time as well (and not because of fanboyism, but because of quality/price). It has been nice to see them keep Intel on their toes, because Intel finally has some quality chips coming out. I am seriously considering getting a Core Duo on the next laptop I order.
This is the good part of capitalism.
Many of them still do. In fact, some of them are also loaning Xbox 360/PS3/Wii games as well.
Well, that makes things easier for sandworms.

It's amazing how much the 2nd one sounds like Randy Newman.
What cat is this one going to be, Ocelot? Domestic Shorthair? Mau?

I have a patent on doing stuff. You should all be receiving a cease and desist letter shortly.
I wonder if Ballmer is going to "Fucking Kill" Yahoo now?
He has been Digging in the Dirt searching for the servers.
Let's just hope they didn't shock the monkey.
I must say, that was clever. It did go over my head for a quick second there.
I think the answers may depend of invites to this party. :)
There are some good visualization plugins for Winamp...

Haha, good call.

However, eventually we would get a nice video of a CGI shark.

Maybe they should make a system that is able to run Amiga OS 4

I can only imagine. When an ATM here at work crashed, I noticed that it appeared to be running what looked like Win2K. Yikes!
That is pretty talented. Perhaps they should go to Georgia to outfiddle the devil.
Actually, if you use a program like tubebite you can convert at 4x. I use this quite a bit, and is really not too shabby.
This idea is dildos.
