    Natural-Selection is already being ported to Source.
    Flayra has had 1-2million invested into unknown worlds by valve last time I heard.
    He has also been hunting modelers to upgrade the current NS models (ebolas' Tink for example)

    I have spent a little time using C# and it seems that all sun/microsoft are doing is trying to beat each other by adding features to their language that other one has just added/will be adding.

    I thing this is good for the coders out there who can take advantage of these improvments in both the languages.

    Anyone who has heard of Glenn Rowe, thats his opinion too and he doesn't hide it :P

    SCO says it discovered the e-mails in a mountain of documents IBM produced in discovery related to SCO's lawsuit against IBM over the Linux operating system.

    I read this as SCO was given the information by IBM but I may be wrong

    at that point the sites will use some sort of tracking to stop people from multiple IP's logging in as the same user, simple enough to do I mean what % of people have 2 different PC's accessing the same site at the same time?

    I for one belive that it is acceptable to blame the games industry for the death of their son while they grieve. But as happens everytime, it will blow over and sales of manhunt will continue. What I do not belive is acceptable is a report in yestardays Metro. Their article says that the parents are going to sue rockstart games as well as sony.

    I also find it funny that some sites have past orders that I have had some fun browsing through. Who would have thought Mr Dean would have needed 3 pairs of pants in different sizes and colours :)

    I wonder what the current state of the computing industry would be like if during the 80's a bill similar to this was passed to stop double tape decks being manufactured?

    I belive that if this bill goes ahead it could act as a catalyst for other countries to pass similar laws and at the same time hurt the IT sector worldwide.

    I currently use an unupgraded version of WinXP home. Mainly because I dont want to spend hours downloading patches on my connection.

    I have never been infected by any of these viruses and I feel like (at least compaired to the people I know) very lucky.

    One of my friends was told by his PC company to do a full format and re-install windows when all that would have been needed was for him to Download Grisoft's AVG

    I really feel sorry for the countless hundreds of people who must have been told by advisors to do that same.

    in the highlands :) on a 28k modem in a small house(hut) that belonged to one of my friends dad. there was only one power socket so we had to unplug the fridge to charge the laptop :)

    I guess that google have banned IP ranges from ISP's that effected or something

    I was looking for some asp tutorials and google didnt work. Rather than go use another engine I just started guessing at urls. It never occured to me to use another Search Engine :).

    Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 coming out soon, I think its time to upgrade from windows 95 :)
