Is Math A Sport?

I think there is a market, albit a small one, to watch math competitions. However, I dont really think math will ever become known as a sport, especially among those non-geeks out there.
This will probably go the way of those Magic The Gathering Tournaments that we sometimes see on ESPN late at night
Why dont we all just upgrade our PC's to gaming exceptable levels? Because of hype. We all want to be part of the stinking hype. When the new consols come out we all buy at least one and, if your like me, regret it.
Sure PC gaming has a higher initial cost but in the long run you will pay less or at the very worse the same price as a new game console to keep your PC up to speed. And the bonus?
You can actually do something with it besides play games and CD's
Perhaps one could infect such a chip with a virus, assuming of course it is wired to recieve signals rather than simply transmit them. However, as to the chip being rejected by the tissue surrounding it this is highly unlikely assuming that the chip is engineered with the proper materials. As for a virus being able to cause physical reprocussions upon the subject by infecting the chip, the chip would have to be built with such actions in mind unless one were to somehow cause a power surge or something.

I KNOW...
I had to read the head line several times. Clearly something has happened to Steve Jobs to make him so...considerate.
Its great to see a major player like dell finally taking steps to bring opensource to the masses rather than just the corporate world.
