I've done the same thing, and it hasn't worked for me. One story was me trying to update some drivers for my sound card, and every time the sound wouldn't work. Turned out after a long while that it was setting by default to mute speakers when something was in the headphones, which previously hadn't minded when there was an adapter without anything plugged into it in the jack.
Another time I called my ISP to try and get them to change my IP address. They told me they didn't offer static IPs. Well I sent them back and apologized for not being clear (even though I had been) and they told me to restart my router (which I had already told them I had done, in both emails). Both responses were very fast, form lettered, and seemed like the techsupport person didn't even read what I'd written, but had looked for key words.
What the hell is wrong with Arabs? Just cause they look different from you and many of them worship a different religion, that means we shouldn't let them in the country? Are you a member of the KKK?
At least they aren't so blatant about it. They aren't funding the companies you named, they're just giving them really good contracts. What is being funded is the air transport industry, most notably, and its the whole industry, not just one company.
I can't tell what is meant by the quotated use of "hacker" in the summary. Do they mean "hacker" which they could have used without the quotes, or do they mean "cracker" which explains the quotes but doesn't explain why they didn't just use the word?
I hate it when people do that... "rediculous" is ridiculous. I've noticed that most Americans are unable to change their opinions, whatever they may be. While I don't think that simply discounting everything you want discounted in your original post is the way to think about it (because a lot of that IS important), just going back to those same arguements and not touching back to the topic at hand is unneccesary.
For language, I don't care when speakers/writers of English as a second language make grammar/spelling errors, but it irritates me when native speakers don't know simple things. By the way, I'm an American, we're not all bad =).
Thats exactly what I was thinking. There are all sorts of things I can tolerate mistakes in in English and still be able to understand, but this is almost completely incomprehensible to me.
I think you hit the nail on the head perfectly. My parents let me get this kind of game because they know I can separate fiction from reality, and wouldn't rashly act on the spur of the moment.
Thats YOUR personal email. If you run a server that manages mail for lots of regular users, THERE IS GOING TO BE SPAM. Its not easy on the server, its a waste of bandwidth. He's got to pay for that bandwidth being wasted. Please get a clue.
They can't. Patent Here. As you can see, Operation isn't prior art because it is not a human interface device. The other mentioned devices do not fit because they do not vibrate the entire unit.
No one seems to have it in for just as silly sounding words like PSP, ReiserFS, GNU/Linux, Gigabit, Bogomips, the Hurd, Kernel, etc.
Say those out loud. Now say "blog." Which one sounds the worst to you? I think for most people, at least the complainer and I, would say "blog" was the most uncomfortable.
The other thing about buying something that expensive for children has to do with two things. For younger children, they're notorious for losing things. For older children, other children are notorious for wanting things, and where I went to school they specifically didn't want students to bring anything valuable... save graphing calculators which some kid got arrested for buying from theives and selling on ebay... just imagine game consoles.
I completely agree. I won't buy a Sony device if it has an optical drive in it. My PS2 failed (got a new one which hasn't yet, but it hasn't been under nearly as much wear, and its of the newer version that doesn't suck as much), my friend had a Sony DVD player that failed the first DAY they had it (and it was out of the box too), so I'm sure not buying something with an optical in it and being carried around.
I agree... What makes the site that creates this think they will get away with promoting vandalism? And any company that invests in them for advertising, why would they do it if they know its inherently illegal?
I'd rather see graffiti art than URLs and email addresses scrawled all over walls.

Two datum points is correct, but one data point is illogical. Who says "one geese foot"? Odd example I know, but it should be "one goose foot"

Dude, where are my overused /. form phrases, not this pop-culture reference I wish I didn't comprehend?

I can vouch for that, but of course, they extrapolate it way too far.
You can force it to give you the better view, as long as you've got JavaScript enabled, just use http://gmail.google.com/gmail?nocheckbrowser as the URL.

That happens to me too, I get all hot inside and have to roll up my sleeves and wipe sweat off my forehead.
What about the locations where they didn't show that, and simply said there wasn't any sort of late fee? In any case, they are in the wrong.

While I agree its a scheme, its not a scam. A scam involves someone lying. They're not lying. However, I do agree it is a pyramid scheme.

It doesn't fit in either. It goes around an RJ45.

The links worked fine for me. The earliest claims go back to 1995, so yes, the patents predate DualShock and Rumble Packs.
If it succeeds, who is for suing Microsoft for making a web browser I can use to get illegal materials from the internet?

Its the screenshots; everything is blurry. I have no idea why, doesn't look like JPEG artifacts...
