    If you are going to critize nasa to this extent lets look at the budget they are dealing with. For crying out loud they are creating masterpieces with peanuts. Of course there are going to be mistakes on a shoe string budget but hey who's to blame? That's for another story. For What nasa has accomplished i think everything that has happened wasn't in vein.

    So I'm moving along writing my book when the drm chip steps in and decides that my book is copyrighted by someone else. ( obviously it's not as I'm writing it now) But that is it I'm locked out of my file and can't get it unlocked.. I have to call 1-800-i don't steal to schedule an appointment for someone to come to my computer ( physical or over the internet) and decide that indeed my book isn't copyrighted or do they still think it is and keep me locked out? This is going to be a Scary, Scary situation.

    I don't think they are investigating Lynn per say but the Information that he has found. There is a problem were software and hardware vendors keep this type of vulnerablity information sacred ( so they can fix it){bullshit they don't want to spend the extra money to fix it}. In any event i think we will see this investigation turn to cisco. This is a National Security Issue and If it's True that Cisco has all of this information and has been sitting on it, then i hope the government through the book at them. And my friends say why to you have 4 internet firewalls, well besides the paranoia it's just extra defense.

    Michael Lynn was right is divulging this to the public and not going directly to Cisco. These companies get this information and sit on it for months.. Mean while x many customers have there underwear pulled over their heads. Cisco Will not have to fix these issues immediately rather than waiting until they seems fit. I aloud Mr. Lynn

    They only reason the U.N. wants control is so they can TAX it. That and survailance. "Consumer Protection" how can that ever happen if we use software with vulnerabilities. I for one am Completely againts the un haveing control. For crying out loud look what happened with oil or food, it turned into oil for nothing ( and your'll like it).

    I know nextel was fined a hefty amount by the fcc for interference i wonder if they are related.

    This is quite disturbing.. Well it's obvious google doesn't care if yout radio doesn't work or your Over the air tv signals are no longer viewable. Anyone tried to watch tv with someone sitting just 5 feet from a nextel i7xx series phone? you can hear the tick tick tick of the timing signal. This can't be much better

    I Personally Encrypt Everything I can. Why should I leave some information laying around on my computer that a hacker might be able to use to defraud me or worse steal my identity.. If that comment holds up about intent because he had encryption installed.. It surely is a sad day.. Because as we know it Juries are Dumb the lawyers want it that way. If you have a decent head on your shoulders there is a good chance you will not be chosen as a juror

    Ipsec it self isn't vulnerable. It is the session setup that can be misconfigured causing the Exploitable problem.

    They. Who ever they are, will be back if indeed it's more than a few people. When it comes down to it nothing is secure. There is always going to be a way for the smart/crafty to cercumvent anything put in place.
    Then again we could just write rock solid code. but that apparently is cost prohibitive.
