    It's a Slap in the face to every consumer. "We assume your going to steal music so were are going to just charge you up front". So then by me paying this tax you're telling me i can download what ever i want.. Since i've abviosly arleady paid for it.
    Go ahead charge me double for the device i won't buy one song from itunes and i'll *steal* all the music i put on the ipod on shear principle, Why not i already paid for it right?

    I agree with Garcia.. The ISPs will never go for this.. There woudl be A. To much Cost to Inforce this and secondly customers would switch to a new isp. The Riaa would expect to get a cut of revenue..

    When a company doesn't have 100 thosand to throw down on a new server they can lease it over 3+ years thus making payments over the course of that time, therefore keeping more capital around. This is a great way to save in the short term. REturning the equipment really depends on the lessor. Most lessors will require original or like new packaging ( keep them boxes in teh basement ). Other wise you will have to buy boxes and foam and bubbles, should i continue? All and All it's a way to spend the same amount over time then up front. With lesser Precentage points.

    My point exactly.. If i'm using my connection lawfully they shouldn't be able to do anything. So i guess if you live in utah you have to call your isp and get access to pron? This coming from the same state that allows you to have more than one wife and children wifes at that.. Utah should be evicted from the union not because of porn but because they are breaking the moral decency of this country..

    I just read where they are saying they can raise mp3's because that would put them in line with ring tones at 1.99. Has anyone out there actually paid 2 dollars for a 15 second clip of the song? I know i sure ass HELL have not nor will I. So because we are getting ripped off for ring tones that makes it ok to do it for mp3's as well.
    Seriously...
