Cue negative Wayland comments by those who have not read, or do not understand the X.org code. Who do we hope will maintain the codebase? There's what, four men still alive, who can do the job?
Venus is *ALMOST* tidally locked with the sun. Its rotation is slightly retrograde. The problem remains: It needs to rotate faster to even out solar heating.
Most home buyers are only looking at the monthly payments. The only customers who know about home design (or who will hire someone else who does) are those that can put more than 20% down. The rest simply don't know, don't care, or won't pay for professional advice.
Most home sales are to uninformed customers; and the builders cater to them.
As of now, commercial and industrial construction are more amenable to new ideas.
This database was created from 100's of other databases. Some states require you to register your firearms. Apparently those databases got included as well.
Why would a database of voter records include a party affiliation field? Don't know how you do it in the US, but in the UK we only store the relationship between voter number and vote slip number, and even that is only on paper and burnt a year later along with the vote slips.
Party affiliation is public record in the states. How easy it is to obain the records varies, but some (like Florida) are downloadable, including home address (determines which local elections you are able to vote in).
Now these ships are still rolling off the production line, but there's less demand for them as the economy has not rebounded to previous levels.
Low, low interest rates may also be a contributing factor. Ship owners may be thinking "we can wait until the economy improves since the payments are reasonable."
Which employees need email with the general public: Sales? Public Relations? Recruitment? Which employees need email to specific outside people: accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, management, etc. How about two email systems? A restricted one for employees who work with money or budgets and an external one for everyone else.
When an external auditor finds fraud, the audit is over. Rule of thumb is that a fraud audit requires at least 3x as many hours to perform (hopefully only covering a few sections of the business). The client is NOT going to pay for this. So unless the auditor is going to rubber stamp the audit, they need to work only minimal hours for the client while trying to get paid. Then refuse to continue.
It all comes down to the contract. If a customer signs a five year contract, but they can break it after one year, it's a one year contract. If there is an early termination fee, the vendor can book *that*, if they have a process to reverse it upon contract completion, and if they have a history of not waiving the fee. Simply pre-booking income for the remaining four years is not acceptable.
Replace restrooms with portable toilets. Without employees, a business doesn't NEED on site restrooms. McDonald's bigger profit center is drive-through, anyways. No bathrooms equals less labor, less floor space, less volume for HVAC, and less homeless sleeping in the stalls.
The ONLY reason to staff the front counter is to up-sell customers. Other than that, order entry is faster and more accurate with multiple terminals. I've been to some restaurants (including McDonald's) that had no customer display. I had to wait until I got a receipt to double-check the order. Sometimes the receipt printer is broken/out-of-paper.
Actually I get better results using google search with "site:amazon.com" than I get with searching within amazon.
The shipping from China to the US can take six weeks. Usually, it's much faster, from 2 to 4 weeks.
I've had same day shipping from Hong Kong. So YMMV.

Completely off-topic, but shockingly insightful.

That's because only 60% of the drivers are "attentive".
Okay, I'll stick my neck out. Why can't the redis port be tunneled through ssh?

We didn't have Facebook or YouTube. We played C&C, Quake, was on IRC, (no sir we didn't looked at porn.)
Yes you did. It was in ASCII.

What voter database contains gun ownership?

Not only biased, looking for investor money.
The Greeks were wicked good at Math. It was basically their thing.
Geometry and Trigonometry, yes. Algebra and Calculus, not so much.
I'd mod you up if at least one of your links wasn't to youtube.

Damn, that's better deal than what I get in the states.

Because a Value Added Tax is not as easy to enforce as a retail sales tax. Use Google translate to read the gripes from employees of impots.gouv.fr
Except, you are not supposed to use TSP if your location is on sewer (as opposed to septic tank). In fact, it might be against the law where you are.
