Actually, the web team over at SMH don't provide a printer friendly link. The 'print' button in the article will send a specifically formatted version to your printer, but it's not linkable directly. Sorry!
XP has world readable folders, but in the Longhorn beta I got (Way back, so ymmv with new ones) the "Documents and Settings/Username" was locked to you and admins. There's a lot more emphasis put on forcing applications to work in least-priveledged account.
As far as I can see, the big risk comes from things like Google Desktop which may use a single index for the whole system, with a cache. Although admittedly if the OS has a decent metadata search built in then there's less chance of Google Desktop even being installed to start with.
We'll see what happens, doubtless/. will find a million things to bitch about anyway. Why let metadata indexing stand out from the crowd until we see the finished product?
The individual elements are around in abundance, the interesting bit is the combination of appropriate elements and molecules in the appropriate conditions to form and then amino acids.
That's what I was going to leap in with. Surely 'public' metadata is just that by definition - naming something "Cybersex with Mistress Oct 2005" will not go down well if it's not user-specific, but if you keep it in My Documents (Vista security model treats this like the/home, so it's only you & admins who see it) then surely the metadata won't be visible.
What's the difference between the Power Nitro and just the plain Power?
I use an M3 Power, and it seems to work quite well (Despite the crap naming). But to get back on topic, it is definatly the blades which make the money for Gilette.
I find it as more of a curiosity than any serious language, but I agree that the 'cultists' are over the top. You use whichever language is easiest at the time, it just so happens that Esperanto is one which isn't tied down to any physical location.
Just speak the language which both of you find easiest to communicate in. May be English, may be Esperanto, may be German, who cares? I can pass in all of them (Although by no means flutent in German or Esperanto).
If MS do that, it falls under a whole different set of laws which can carry their own fines as well. Charging more to dig out of that will simply result in higher and higher fines.
Nah, gamma radiation is technically a wave (EM wave, same as light and radio). However, through some funky wave-particle duality it can be treated as a particle for the reasons of energy calculations. E=hf, where E is energy in a photon, h is Planck's Constant and f is the frequency of the EM wave.
I use a book for some things (Such as date widgets), and to pick up best practices, but learn how to build applications from ripping existing applications apart.
I think it's down to the individual. Some need to see the whole thing laid out to see how it works, others can just frig existing things until they fit. But never underestimate the value of a reference book.
I thought it was a legal requirement that if you paid for an OEM version of say Windows, the company had to provide you with a licence key and clean version CD (Since that's what you paid for).
Anyone with more experience in this field able to comment?
I think I've lost the thread of conversation somewhere...
We were talking about bulges, not erect members. Bulges can be seen with next to no intention through swimming gear. And yes, it was me who reported I was above average but it wasn't me who did the measuring to start with.
And, like my original post said, how the hell did we end up with an in-depth discussion about this?
Look at the Help -> About for IE. There's a load of licenced tech in there - what do these licences say about releasing the code?
This is no different to bulk discounts on, say, hard disks or CPUs. As someone else said, if you don't like it buy all the parts seperately.
Dell sell ready-to-go computers, not assembled hardware.
It's also done in Google Earth. The White House has a 3D model as does a lot of Washington, but on photo view the roof is whited out completely.

Just to join in,
Merry Christmas! May your presents be covered in blue LEDs!
Interestingly enough, St. Nicholas is the patron saint against imprisonment, robberies and robbers.
Also the patron saint of (deep breath) apothecaries; Apulia, Italy; bakers; Bari, Italy; barrel makers; boatmen; boot blacks; boys; brewers; brides; captives; children; coopers; dock workers; druggists; Duronia, Italy; fishermen; Fossalto, Italy; Greece; Greek Catholic Church in America; Greek Catholic Unionl grooms; judges; lawsuits lost unjustly; Limerick, Ireland; longshoremen; Lorraine; maidens; mariners; merchants; murderers; Naples, Italy; newlyweds; old maids; parish clerks; paupers; pawnbrokers; perfumeries; perfumers; pharmacists; pilgrims; poor people; Portsmouth, England; prisoners; Russia; sailors; Sassari, Italy; scholars; schoolchildren; shoe shiners; Sicily; spinsters; students; thieves; travellers; University of Paris; unmarried girls; watermen.
Points of interest are thives, murderers, children and maidens. Surely not a good combination.

The next logical step would be turning those 3 emails, AIM, cellphone, myspace and so on into a single address.
When there's a single address which *will* get hold of you if you are available, there's only one thing to turn off.

Hang on, I call prior art. Isn't Exchange/Outlook securely accessing global unified information in a network? How about Lotus?

Esperanto, please. No masculine/feminine/neuter, no irregular verbs, only one way to form plurals...
Moded, so technically it's fine.
Not from Earth, but give Google Moon (Seriously) a try:

But which animal would it use as the cover?

And it wasn't me doing the reporting.
Nah, 50% of people are. And you know damn well what I mean, you pedantic bastard ;)
