I have visited a number of southern towns, popular with the crowd you mention. The fact is they make it very difficult to actually walk into the store, they have a little fence around the whole parking lot except for when cars in. And a lot of towns don't even have footpaths. No excuse for being fat or driving suvs, but Southern America is built for cars.
How would you feel if I trained a camera on the windows of your house, 24 hours a day, blinds or no blinds. Every reasonable person would have a problem with that. So where does the line end? What if I took a picture once an hour, once a day? What if it was trained on your daughters bedroom window? Would that make you feel uncomfortable.
There are no definite answers for this question, people have different opinions, everybody wants something different, and there is nothing wrong with someone disagreeing with you. But there are plenty of people here, like yourself, who feel that there is only ONE reasonable answer, and anything else is madness. You are wrong.
Netscape worked correctly, as it should. This was the whole problem, ie just ignored errors, so a lot of times they weren't picked up. So there were a lot more errors out there, when there should not have been.
You are ignorant. In fact, if AMD had done exactly the same thing as Intel, there would be no problem, no illegal activity, and no fine. The problem is that Intel is a monopoly, and there are some things that monopolies can not do..
This is not important. It is important that it is high enough to make Intel change their ways, and that it is high enough that they made a loss on using these illegal techniques. I don't think it is either. (of course, the threat of continued fines might help).
In Australia (that place in the summary, I haven't RTFA either!) we don't have ubiquitous hotspots.
Unless, of course, you happen to live in Adelaide, which has free wifi throughout the city. Provided by the council. You won't see that in Sydney or Melbourne (Sydney that has a half private airport, where you need to pay to go between terminals).
What the fuck is up with you morons blaming REI for this. Where does it say anything about them calling the cops. Fuck you and your stupidity and ignorance, you aren't making anything better, you are fucking it up.
Complain to the security, the police or the ATM company. You stupid cunt!
What is the point of buying back stock? To drive up the price of the stock, that is all. it doesn't give you anything else, and it can be a waste of money, more an idea if you can't think of anything else to do with the money.
The problem is you can't just implement this size limit to US companies, or you will be unfairly discriminating against them, in favour of the rest of the world, which doesn't have this rule. US companies would not be able to compete under these unfair rules.
Yeah, maybe you should stop browsing the web, because YOUR BROWSER IS TRACKING YOUR BROWSING HABITS!!!! shock and fucking horror. And somehow, this BROWSER Extension has managed to access data in your own fucking BROWSER????? When will the madness end.
Or they go to an alternative, who offers chips at cheaper prices. They go to AMD, exactly what this charge is meant to do... you do realise that you don't HAVE to but Intel.
You are deliberately being stupid. The fact is that Intel did benefit from being first, and they were also very good at what they do. They are great engineers. The problem was they decided to not just go down this route, they decided to break the law to extend their monopoly. If they hadn't have done this, no doubt they still would have been the biggest, but we would have had better chips from AMD, and better competition... so in the current case, we all suffer.
I wonder what happens to this fine, does AMD get any?
Look, I don't know why you getting so upset, but I stil can't find it on o'reilly.
Yeah, congrats, you have solved one little problem, and created about 1000 new problems.
You would hope that testing would include putting in mangled data, seeing what the machine does.

They should make them pay the fine in AMD chips, that should make everyone happy.

What about an EU divided??
(Not sure why it is necessary to say EU combined? How does it compare to just the EU, or US combined?)

All I see is ******
You sure you are not writing your password on the screen?

Your definition of not being a smart ass is to do exactly what you are told by ANYONE, and not to do anything out of the normal.
Fuck you and your not being a smart ass.

I hope they do treat it like the first xbox, and release a modified laptop in a huge case, with a speaker and mic stapled on.

Are you willing to die for free file sharing? I'm sure not.
That is a shame, since we have all nominated you to be our sacrifice. Don't bother running, we already have your house surrounded.

If you are not going to click on the ads, then surely it is better to not show them, and waste the advertisers bandwidth.
Sorry, this process has been patented by American and European farmers.
Or more likely they were given incentives to maintain such a high proportion of Intel CPUs, this is the way they work.
"If you guys but only intel for this quarter, we will give you a 10% discount."

Could you name one of these miraculous companies?
