    One of the big reasons shared memory is bad is because you have to share a bus, rather than have a dedicated bus just for video memory. Also, you have to deal with different memory timings, for CPU and Video access. Plus the shared memory is usually physically located furthey away (just kidding!).

    I agree with you, if you want the cheap one, no point coming here and complaining, go and get the cheaper one. Me, I prefer quality, and I prefer the Mac experience, and only having to put up with Microsoft shit (and I say this having experience in their latest absolutely shit OS Vista) when I am forced to.

    I agree with the AC, I avoid using Microsoft products at all costs.

    I have had to use Vista and IE 7 yesterday, it was pain full. It is like they have deliberatly hidden setting to make it harder. I couldn't even log off. I couldn't get IE to tell me what security zone it was in for the current page (it was a local file, so who the fuck knows). I hate Microsoft with a passion, do not trust them for one second, and will not be surprised when the fuck you all over again. If you are too stupid to pick up on that, then good for you buddy.

    Funny thing is they probably had to put in such a big battery on the keyboard, so that it would support the weight of the screen when in attached mode.

    The truth is that for most cases, your GP should be replaced by an expert system, it would be more reliable, accurate, and in my experience more caring.

    Why are you limiting yourself to just SA? Are they the only ones allowed to buy W7? There are a lot of people out there, who do exactly this. They don't want to lose all there data, all there programs, the computer setup the way they want it.

    It shouldn't be that hard for Microsoft to make this work. The fact is, using things like the registry, Microsoft has made this very hard for themselves... and it is all there own stupid fault.

    Anyone with any sense foresaw what a pain in the ass the registry will be, and it is.

    No, it is not unfair, since Windows 7 is just a modified windows Vista, with not much added on. It should still use the same drivers as Vista.

    That certainly is one way to look at it.

    Another is that an application runs fine 99.99% of the time, and crashes the machine the other time. This is a much more disagreeable outcome.

I am talking about the majority of computer users, not people in some African nation.
