That was probably an OQO. There was a prototype at CES earlier this year. I held it in my hands for a few minutes. I thought about slipping it in my pocket, but then remembered the security guards and metal detectors at the doors. I did get a cool brochure though...
I didn't get to read the article, but I'm assuming it's about pre-SP2 IE. IMHO SP2 IE is just as good as Firefox in terms of security. If it had tabbed browsing, I'd use it all the time.
Are they trying to commit corporate suicide? First they "may have" issued 23 million shares of stock to their own employees illegally and now they "may have" breached the quiet period. Do they even know what they're doing?
Well, this is what Badnarik believes about gun control: I sincerely believe that statistical evidence supports the idea that crime increases exponentially wherever gun control is instituted as the governing policy.
So technically it's not self-contradictory. But yes, he might be completely wrong. He attempts to back up his belief with some examples here.
If you don't like Kerry or Bush, you might want to check out the Libertarian candidate for president, Michael Badnarik. I can almost guarantee you'll agree more with him than either Kerry or Bush even if you do consider yourself a democrat or republican.
I predict in approximately one year Napster will be renamed yet again to Microsoft Music or something to that effect. Microsoft likes to compete, especially with Apple.
