When I was 15, I already had designed a few electronic circuits and had programmed in BASIC and assembler. And yes, cracked computer games. So yes, there's SURE way that kid did this.

The video is entitled "Funzie jumps the shark". Yes, it's the video that originated the expression.
Please, Taco... no more idle videos in the frontpage!:(
I went to the site but it was all just squiggles. Don't fool yourself! Those squiggles talk about the mysterious murderer known as Kira! Rumours say that if Kira knows - urkh!! ack! *dies mysteriously of a heart attack*
Jesus H, people! Why not hand our next potential technological edge in the global marketplace over to the G*dd*mn trial lawyers before it gets out of the laboratory. AIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! Um... better safe than sorry?
Whats the difference between religions and cults? As far as I can tell they really are the same thing. Perhaps Robert J. Lifton can explain to you the difference between a church and a cult.
Google is clearly acting in support of terrorism and is therefore itself a terrorist organization. We need to drop some injunction on that. (cue old Batman rotating scene change)
Install a security camera in the friggin' hall. Then you'll see the "ghosts" moving your clothes and stuff around:)
Then, install cheap notebooks (or perhaps mini-audio recorders) next to the doors, so the next time anyone needs something, at least they'll give you a message. "Hey Frank, I need to borrow your ipod".
If that doesn't work, hire a family counselor to force you guys to START COMMUNICATING!!
Who put the bomp in the bomp bah bomp bah bomp? Who put the ram in the rama lama ding dong? Who put the bop in the bop shoo bop shoo bop? Who put the dip in the dip da dip da dip?
Unfortunately, capitalism doesn't actually require you to be a human in order to be an investor. Are you thinking the same thing that I'm thinking, Pinky?
For once, an accurate first post. "Inflicting emotional distress" should not be a crime, because that means "insulting someone on Usenet" is a crime.
How about "Premeditatedly inflicting extreme emotional distress to someone, by manipulating him/her emotionally through the long term use of deception or coercion, with the agravant of knowing that the subject was emotionally unstable to the point that he/she could harm himself or others"?
I think there SHOULD be a criminal law against this. Votes, please?
Don't mean to be harsh, or to assume anything, but it just seems like there must have been more to the story.
In a world where girls stop eating and throw up on purpose because they fear their life will become miserable if they get a pound more of fat, I'd say there's WAY MUCH MORE to the story!
However, I can't let HER parents go scott-free on this one either. What were they doing letting their mentally fragile daughter romp across the internet with little or no supervision!
Very often (more than we'd wish), parents are the cause of their children's mental problems like depression.
yes, I use Internet Explorer in Windows Vista that is the safest browser because it runs with the lowest privileges possibile in a sandbox (IE7 Protected mode).
Oh yeah? I use Internet Explorer in XP under non-admin mode in a virtualbox install on Cygwin on a virtualbox install of XP inside a Linux virtualbox install under a SELinux host!

The folks at I2P say it's not ready yet... but I think it's about time we start using that service to protect our freedom.
Don't know what I'm talking about? Search wikipedia.
What does that have to do with keeping a small percentage?
Google will remove those videos when anti-islamist Jihads start threatening Google with violent actions. What? That won't happen? Oh well...
Meanwhile, in the Microsoft headquarters....
Obviously, someone running Linux or other F/OSS OS doesn't need a game to understand the advantages of cooperation or peaceful conflict resolution.
Tell that to the vim and emacs fanbois...

This is why there's a ReactOS project. In a month or so they'll have version 0.3.5 running.
Oops, you meant compiling on windows? ^^; I understand you man.
Don't give up. VirtualBox is DEFINITELY worth it. I run Windows on it and everything works except videogames (that's what Wine is for ;-) )
Here's an installation guide for Ubuntu, they tell you how to compile from sources.

The correct sound is Quork!, it seems.
Or linux-only apps (And here I thought Linux meant freedom).
Who's the scatman? I'm the scatman!!!

Did I mention that my fiancee died for licking the envelopes for our wedding's invitation?

Yes, we must! Because that gets us cautious when using IE on the job, while most people simply don't even know these vulnerabilities exist.

HAH! Take that!
