    When I was 15, I already had designed a few electronic circuits and had programmed in BASIC and assembler. And yes, cracked computer games. So yes, there's SURE way that kid did this.

    Install a security camera in the friggin' hall. Then you'll see the "ghosts" moving your clothes and stuff around :)

    Then, install cheap notebooks (or perhaps mini-audio recorders) next to the doors, so the next time anyone needs something, at least they'll give you a message. "Hey Frank, I need to borrow your ipod".

    If that doesn't work, hire a family counselor to force you guys to START COMMUNICATING!!

    Don't give up. VirtualBox is DEFINITELY worth it. I run Windows on it and everything works except videogames (that's what Wine is for ;-) )

    Here's an installation guide for Ubuntu, they tell you how to compile from sources.

    For once, an accurate first post. "Inflicting emotional distress" should not be a crime, because that means "insulting someone on Usenet" is a crime.


    How about "Premeditatedly inflicting extreme emotional distress to someone, by manipulating him/her emotionally through the long term use of deception or coercion, with the agravant of knowing that the subject was emotionally unstable to the point that he/she could harm himself or others"?

    I think there SHOULD be a criminal law against this. Votes, please?

    Don't mean to be harsh, or to assume anything, but it just seems like there must have been more to the story.


    In a world where girls stop eating and throw up on purpose because they fear their life will become miserable if they get a pound more of fat, I'd say there's WAY MUCH MORE to the story!

    Very often (more than we'd wish), parents are the cause of their children's mental problems like depression.

    yes, I use Internet Explorer in Windows Vista that is the safest browser because it runs with the lowest privileges possibile in a sandbox (IE7 Protected mode).


    Oh yeah? I use Internet Explorer in XP under non-admin mode in a virtualbox install on Cygwin on a virtualbox install of XP inside a Linux virtualbox install under a SELinux host!

    HAH! Take that!
