It's not sustainable if they don't adapt, true. There's no reason that we can't make our electric companies act as storage for the consumers. That's why they're public utilities.
Apple Pay and Google Pay will not be free forever, obviously. Since they're not credit card processors, they'll always be more expensive than using just straight credit card processors.
I've always thought that running and jogging was too jarring to joints and such. I stay in great shape by *walking* ~5-6 miles a day, but I wouldn't run. Walking (fast) provides the same benefit as running, but without the joint wear and tear, and of course, it takes about twice as long.
Market capitalization has nothing to do with profit, or even sales. It has to do with stock price, which, again, has nothing to do with profitability or any other measure of success of a company.
Quantum physics has proven (over a century) that photons can be entangled, meaning that two completely different photons, in different places, can instantly influence each other. Instant is a whole lot faster than electrons can move.
Also, re encryption. When photons are entangled, it can also be looked at as the same photon at two different places at one time, so there is no transfer of information at all because the data is being transmitted to and from the same photon.
I get a new phone every two years. I just picked up my third Windows Phone the other day. An OS, yes, I'd like supported for a decade or so. A phone? Meh. I'll grab a new one every few years, and get the new software along with it. I haven't felt like they've abandoned my phones at all.
We could easier and more quickly reduce pollution by pushing a shift from gasoline to much more efficient diesel engines in the meantime, though, with no added infrastructure. I already get 50 mpg with my awesome TDI.
That's because none of that little shit matters. Nobody really cares about a bunch of guys who live in their parents' basements arguing about video games. People do care when a bunch of people threaten other people with bodily harm.
Price is not the only consideration. You may not care about your own health, but lots of people care about theirs.
Utility companies are strictly regulated by the government. They are not entitled to unlimited profit.

Doesn't effect retailers if they have modern software in place. End-to-end encryption starting with hardware is pretty tough to beat.
No Apple pay and no Google pay.
1. They're expensive.
2. They don't solve any problems.
3. They add complexity.
I'd be interested in seeing a poll of the number of people bitching about the lack of local jobs being created who also shop online.
Yeah, I have a suggestion. Chill the fuck out. Watch your 2 year old, and when he/she's asleep, don't worry about it.
This is why the government "interference" is required in the first place, Libertarian fucktard.

No person's will controls their appetite for more than a few weeks, bodily instinct always take over in the end.
Complete and utter bullshit.

...or you can just use a Windows Phone and disable the advertising ID as part of the OS in the Settings menu.
Oh, then I need to do some more reading. I thought they were the same particle, just in different place at the same time.
No, once you have two entangled photons, they're in perfect sync because they're the same particle. Not at all random.

No, there's no correlation. It's the same object.
Sorry, information cannot travel faster than the speed of light based on physics as we know it.
Maybe as YOU know it, but you don't understand quantum physics.
Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out!
Is Windows really relevant anymore?
Yes, as it does to most of us who are gainfully employed.
I don't see what the big deal is. I plug my phone into whatever computer I'm sitting at. I'm at a computer for most of my waking hours.

I don't see any of them creating "a well regulated militia"...

Get some perspective, moron.
