The ISP told the police, maybe? Or Google? Or Facebook? All of these entities legally collect and give away/sell this data constantly. It's not "spying". It's 100% legal in the US. Give me your name and a few bucks, and I'll give you back your web site history for as far back as you'd like. It's not secret or illegal to obtain.
But it does look like a set up that he just walked into.
How exactly is going to a web site to purchase a prostitute, then bringing that prostitute (who must have looked quite young) to a hotel, fucking said prostitute, then paying prostitute in cash "a set up", exactly? Do you know what "a set up" means in this context?
Any time a person in the government's crosshairs gets arrested on a sex crime or pedophilia charge, be VERY wary of believing it.
Why? What evidence do you have?
" In a TV interview in September, Strauss-Kahn admitted that his liaison with Diallo was a moral fault and described it as "inappropriate""
"According to a report in L'Express Strauss-Kahn admitted to attempting to kiss Banon."
Your example is a guy who admits that he cheats on his wife and admits that he at least tries to sexually assault women. I don't think you know how this whole "argument" thing is supposed to work.
A 16 year old isn't a child? What the heck are you talking about? Literally and legally, a 16 year old is a child. That's why we imprison people who fuck 16 year olds.
Well, if you want government out of business, then we should just get rid of the government-created idea of a corporation, then, right? Are you suggesting some other alternative, or are you just a fan of using words that you don't really understand the meaning of?
She wants to regulate a business that is causing massive societal damage. This story about people wanting reasonable regulations being "power hungry" is a wacky, wacky story that Trumpers have been repeating for decades. It doesn't seem to be true, nor does it make any sense. Corporations are an artificial entity created by the state, and as such, they need to be regulated by the state.

Too bad we don't have anybody looking out for regular people in the US.
If you're not working hourly, no matter what you do, you're probably getting screwed. I used to be a software developer, and I only worked for a salary once. That was enough to learn my lesson. After that, I only worked hourly positions.
The last thing I want in a car are more stupid gadgets. Driving is already dangerous enough with every other person staring at their phones while driving. Most people are not smart enough to do both at the same time. I know I'm not.
And, why do I need more electronics that can break? Consumer-grade software today is so incredibly shitty (just ship it, we'll fix it later), that I couldn't imagine having something as buggy as Android running my car. No thanks. My dials and gauges work just fine, and never need software updates.
You sounds really pissed off because somebody hasbn't give you the lollipop you think you deserve. Sucks to be you. I'm quite successful and happy, thanks, and there's room for plenty more people like me.
So "blockchain" is some kind of magical solution in search of a problem it can fix? That's a weird way of going about things. Why would anybody care if anybody finds a practical use for blockchain (or not)?
Wow. I'm a liberal. I'm trying to look out for those who need help. It has nothing to do with that weird government power/anti-individual fetish story you've got going on. Jesus, that's fucked up, dude. You need some help.
But, it's not that simple... Saying, "don't have kids at a young age" is helpful, sure, but it's only helpful if the person you're telling it to has the education to know what it takes to get pregnant, access to contraceptives, or even the cultural norms to prevent it. Saying "don't drop out of high school" is really great if your kids can afford *not* to drop out of high school. Poor kids may NEED to work for money (to eat) when other kids are going to high school. They may be going to a school where it's physically dangerous to attend. They may not have effective teachers. Maybe they have no way to get to school.
So yes, telling kids these things is all great, but there are a LOT of other factors the influence how and why people make decisions that they do, and more than that, but what happens to people even outside of their decisions. Your children are obviously privileged that they're growing up in a nurturing, supportive environment, where they have the luxury of making good decisions. That's great. But for so many other people, that's not realistic or practical.
I eat exactly *0* homecooked meals a week. My time is worth more to me than the $$ is costs to get a (good) restaurant meal. But, I would imagine I'm an outlier. I would guess that most people eat at home most of the time because they simply can't afford to eat out.
Kid, you have spent too much time reading Ayn Rand. As you get older, if you're smart and open to ideas, you'll learn that it ain't as simple as you describe.
There are a LOT of other factors that go into whether or not a person is successful in the US other than the few you describe.
I won't call you a "fucking LIAR", but I will call you ignorant. Luckily, that IS something you can remedy on your own. Best of luck, snowflake.
It has to do with history. Low Income people, minorities, and people who are the first of their families in college have historically had a very hard time getting ahead in the US. It's a fact. Sorry that upsets you so much, snowflake.

Corporations are much better created and run by voluntary private agreements.
A "corporation" is a government-created entity. It cannot be created arbitrarily by private individuals.

Yes, I believe the government in this case. This guy's a real prick, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit that he's a child fucker.
Well, if you want government out of business, then we should just get rid of the government-created idea of a corporation, then, right? Are you suggesting some other alternative, or are you just a fan of using words that you don't really understand the meaning of?
No YOU said that. You are misrepresenting what this person said. You seem to be conflating all politicians with the Orange Asshole.

What does that have to do with the "destruction of the free Internet"?

... except Cloudflare, of course.

Suck it. I'm a sociology & economy nerd.

That's right. What I said, but without the snark.

Plastic is toxic. Always has been. Don't use it to wrap anything you eat or drink. It's not good for you.
