  1. Re:Vaccinations on YouTube Breeding Harmful Scientific Misinformation · · Score: 1

I dont really trust Pharmaceutical Companies, but I have read some of their instruction/inserts that get packaged with the vaccines.

These contain some very useful information. I remember the DTaP vaccine insert which under the Pertussis section stated:
the pathogenesis of and immunity to Pertussis is not well understood at this time.

Basically this is the company that makes the vaccine saying they dont know how immunity works for the virus being immunized for.

Also interesting is that historicallly, pertussis vaccines have been responsible for many, many injuries and deaths to kids who were vaccintated with this.

Basically it gets back to doing your own research, and using doctors/youtube/everything as a resource for information. Then make your own decision. Nobody will sift through the bullshit for you.

which brings me back to the EV1, which (I think) was well below 100K price and priced more like a normal car (30-40k although I may be wrong on that) even though they only allowed people to lease....at least its better than hydrogen fuel cell cars.

and internet approach?..WTF?...this is pure marketing. didnt GM, Toyota, and other have fully electric cars in the late 90's and early 2000's?..GM had the EV1 I believe...weren't the big 3 making electric cars way back (1920's-30's)...

Im absolutely sick of hearing about all this great new technology which is basically old shit just repackaged and re marketed (just like commercial software industry).

Watch, they will make a great electric car but it will totally die in about 2 years forcing you to buy a new one. But it will be OK because we will be saving the environment.

Please explain how you would clinically study a cure to a phycho somatic disorder? This is not something that can be easily done IMO. However, in my personal experience dealing with chronic low back pain(herniated disc), I can say that Sarno is the only doctor Ive come across that knows what's going on with a majority of chronic pain sufferers.

Most people think its nuts, but just because you dont believe it doesnt mean its not true...also, the lack of clinical studies in no way nullifies claims of his success.

The resistance to his approach is more an issue of psychological conditioning that most of us are brought up with. I only hope people keep an open mind regarding this stuff as it could be of great help to many of them.

  6. maybe not a structural problem... on Does Computer Use Actually Cause Carpal Tunnel? · · Score: 1

I think an issue with diagnosing the cause of CTS and other chronic pain conditions is that we(ourselves & doctors) are always looking for a structural problem in the area with the pain as the cause for pain. Dr. John Sarno has done some very good work involving healing people with chronic pain issues for years. He attributes the cause of most chronic pain to be psycho somatic in origin. Very worth while looking into if you suffer from chronic pain.

I personally battled chronic back pain that was attributed to a herniated disc(via MRI)...once i started tying underlying emotions to pain it went away...very bizzare sounding at first but it allowed me to rid myself of back pain and never waste time/money on another doctor visit. Bonus too was that other pains went away (rotator cuff, knee, tight hamstrings) with no physical therapy whatsoever. The single best thing Ive ever done regarding personal health.

I still work 40 hours/week at a computer but could care less about posture (I also spend my free time hunched over riding a road bike).

Chronic pain sucks the fat man's ass... What sucks worse is that we are conditioned to deal with it via drugs, physical therapy and surgery. Keep an open mind and question your doctor(s) if you think what they tell you is BS.

  7. Re:How I cured my "RSI" on Google Staff MD on Carpal Tunnel & RSI · · Score: 1

I second that...I have recently eliminated severe low back pain using Dr. Sarno's recommendations (had herniated disc on an MRI...I suffered low back pain for about 5 years total)...I have since read a lot linking RSI, etc. to the same cause (the mind).

Too bad more people and doctors arent aware of this as a treatment. It's a very simple way to stop chronic pain(but not necessarily easy). The best part is no doctors, no meds(although i must admit I miss the percocet that my first doctor game me!)

I'm repeatedly blown away by the hostility and disbelief people exhibit toward this as a viable cure...their closed mine, their loss.
