Quartz combed through Negri’s LCA database and came up with a list of the average salaries for H-1B holders at a number of tech companies. Topping the list was Netflix, where the average H-1B holder could expect to earn $214,693 in 2014, followed by Box ($143,318), Etsy ($135,595), Twitter ($134,221), and Airbnb ($134,039).
Zuckerberg is at the heart of driving these H1-B's too, so if you're using Facebook you gave him the power to fuck you over. "They trust me — dumb fucks," -Zuckerberg
If it's spoofing a cell tower the way the Stingray does then it's getting every phone attached to the spoofed tower, it is "scooping" it all up. Especially in a case like Ferguson or Baltimore, you would want to scoop it all up.
In active mode, the StingRay will force each compatible cellular device in a given area to disconnect from its service provider cell site (i.e., operated by Verizon, AT&T, etc.) and establish a new connection with the StingRay.[12]
The existing vaccine does not protect against infection, but against the effects of the toxin that the bacterium produces.
Appears people get infected, but do not suffer if they have been vaccinated, so the bacterium continues to exist and infect humans, and possibly other vectors as well.
This business with SF is troubling, and reinforces my concern about someone malicious gaining control over other items, like Linux repositories, updates, etc.
Most of you/.'ers that have read my comments know that I like to dis Apple, can't stand the fucking fanbois, but I have yet to see the Airport listed in any of these articles. If you have point it out to me, it seems they are fairly sound devices.
It all hinges on the circle jerks agreeing with each other, which they have always done. Nothing new, and one wonders what the "telecoms" are doing with the metadata.
WASHINGTON—The Justice Department is scooping up data from thousands of mobile phones through devices deployed on airplanes that mimic cellphone towers, a high-tech hunt for criminal suspects that is snagging a large number of innocent Americans, according to people familiar with the operations.
Monitoring Ferguson, Baltimore, chasing after certain individuals you can Google this too, someone even has their flight paths up showing where they were circling. In addition they scoop up all cell phone data in the area as well as video below, so if you're in the area you get recorded and videoed.
Reform of the FBI, NSA, etc is unlikely, they just "keep doing it". These guys are supposed to be the watchers, but who is watching the watchers? And even if someone was what can they do about it?

These visas are at the center of a fierce debate in Congress over whether they complement American workers or displace them.
If the debate is in congress then it won't end well if history is any indicator.

Now I know what you're going to do, you're going to try to make a distinction between "tapping" and indiscriminate capture, there really isn't one.
