    It is a conspiracy, to make your laptop cheaper by getting rid fo rarely used doo dads (like mic switches)
    The only other thing I would add is if you're not clever enough to figured out how to disable then you aren't doing anything the NSA cares about.

    I worked for Apple, their education department had an uproar when one school district was found to spying on the students via the iSight, the light never went on.
    The school admitted they set it up that way.

    They were spying on them at home, I wonder how many little kids got undressed in front of their iSights while someone watched.

    He used TOR over wireless, yes that's easy to detect, but it appears to me his confession did him in, not that useless bit of evidence that he used TOR.

    Anyone that creates a robot for warfare (killing), or to do a job done by humans is a criminal to all humanity.

    Here's why, as soon as a workable AI is available it can be tied into robots and factories (and cctv cameras) then the robots can build and repair themselves, all they need is raw material and energy.
    What are we going to do with 8 billion jobless people, robots that do all the work, and robots designed to kill?

    About the war, it's just my personal belief that if you go to war you should suffer loses, if you have robots that do your fighting then you never suffer a loss of life (thought the enemy surely will).
    That's what keeps you from going to war, people die, if they are robots why would you ever stop going to war?
