    None of the countries that have free healthcare have a military(specific portions of the militaries notwithstanding.) that is at all worth a damn. Moreover, in order to build up a military that could do anything, they would have to gut their social programs, including their free healthcare. The idea that if the US military became completely ineffective except at defending the US that everything would be hunky-dory is fucking delusional. Nature abhors a vacuum, and the conflits that would flare up would make the current situation look like a walk through the fucking park.

    Mmm, you'll notice that it doesn't attribute their deaths to Allied forces. Just that they died. Not to mention that they vast majority of the "casualties" were confirmed by surveys done by, among other things, POLITICAL PARTIES, with no mention of methodology. One can assume realistically that the numbers are smaller and overwhelmingly caused by the insurgents.

    Actually in Military R&D this is largely not the case. Because of the nature of the programs they are mandated to do the vast majority of the work in the US. They can get certain parts from outside the US, but nothing really critical.

    Not without knowing the exact ratios for honors that Harvard was using at the time, and what classes he did best in. For instance, if he did really well in the subjective classes but much less well in the objectively graded classes than his SCL is quite suspect.

Moreover, he told the media that he was tweeting about the hockey game but for 3 hours prior to the surprise wiener there was no public communication on his twitter account.

    Unless you define regular people to exclude anyone who pays income tax then then answer is yes, taxes were lowered. Not by a static amount, but as a percentage of what you paid.

    Bullshit, I use both 'ObamaCare' and 'Bush tax cuts' when referring to the respective legislation. It has no inherent bias to it other than attributing it to the people pushing it. The reason for labels such as ObamaCare is so that in general conversation people don't have to refer to the PPACA.

    I didn't even learn of the series until after the movie, and the ONLY piece of advertising for the movie that I saw was 2 weeks after it came out at around one in the morning on Comedy Central. The advertising campaign for that movie was virtually nonexistent.

    Over the past 2 years the government printed off a trillion dollars and sold the debt to itself. If it really wanted to it could *buy* the 800 billion that China owns pretty easy. Not to mention the fact that if America goes into that big a depression the effect on the rest of the world will be extremely ugly. Food riots would be much more common, among other things
