I own this monitor and it's actually very nice. I needed more desk space and my old ViewSonic 17" CRT was killing that. For gaming reasons, I opted for this monitor. I've played a bit of Counter Strike: Source, but mostly Battlefield 2 and it's performance is quite exceptional. I really do not notice any "ghosting."
My only complaint w/ the monitor is that you cannot adjust its height. You can tilt it back and forth, minimally at that. This is pretty annoying as it sits relatively high on its bevel. I'm used to it now, but the first few weeks really cramped my neck.
Unlike the 20gb and 60gb "Photo" iPods that feature a TV Out option, the Nano does not. Although all the other features pertaining to the photo capabilities are essentially the same.
I thought that might be of interest to some, as it is not mentioned in the product's specs.
Starting tomorrow all registers at CompUSA will prompt the cashier to ask the customer for verification that they are able to purchase any product that would fit into a category requiring an age check.
While 'we' were always told to ask, not everyone did when it came to mature purchases such as movies or vidoe games. This does not make it 100% certain that it will happen, but boosts the chances.
I've just returned from Best Buy on my lunch break and they are selling it on their shelves and at the front of the store.
So I became a little curious and when I returned to work [CompUSA] I ventured back in the warehouse and we have our display shrink wrapped with several bright orange tags on them declaring not to sell it until the 16th.
Just a little fyi.
QB Vision was an option in 2006's version, it was just on by default. You could however turn it off.
Actually, yes... [osx86project.org].
