How could you ever turn the stolen money into paper money with out it being completely tracked. What means do cyber criminals launder their money without being immediately apprehended?
Even with HDDVD and BlueRay game developers are going to have to start writing more elegant games or they will end up using up there new 50+ gig media without adding much real value to the game.
Why could this idea be combined with the current technology. Millions of mirrors AND thousands if not millions of photo detectors would allow faster exposure times without as much waste as current CCD digital cameras.
Windows Vista is not going to be the godsend to users like microsoft made it out to be. Instead of focusing on user needs and wants, microsoft design with its own profitability in mind, ie DRM, licensing, authenication, certified drivers, and of course protected premium content (HD). A compnay has every right to do this but I think it is going to backfire unless microsoft starts working with users instead of against them.

This problem is very much a double edged sword. As a developer, I want the users of my applications to have the newest features and latest bug fixes. It is also very helpful from a support (POV) to have every user on a current version. The dark side is frequent updates and a lack of previous versions can cause major headaches for the user.
It is not hard to see that many if not most media types will converge. Games are the current media type that are developing and perfecting the virtual world interface. I predict a convergence of all media and communications into Sims-like game that simulates (optimizes) your day to day life. - yada yada - Games will dominate.

The NTTimes should not have the right to profit from the media attention that has been put on them. An article they published was responsible for riots and murders, still they use the event to make some more money from online sales.

It only takes investment of $500,000 save approximately $80-100 a month. It could take 416.6 years to pay off at the current energy prices.
