There is no conflict between science and religion when you realize that a day for God can be any length of time. The Hebrew word Yom used to denote day is also used to denote thousands of years or eternity in other places in the scriptures. Look up the Long Day Theory or Theistic Evolution. It is the cooks who think evolution is a threat to Christianity that do most of the harm to pushing away people who would otherwise be believers.
I'm very serious about God as would anyone who realizes that God is real. You can't take a serious matter such as God and treat it trivially or foolish even though I've seen many people who do it. I think there is a pervading wind in youth culture that tries to deride believers. Instead of engaging believers rationally, the insults and old jokes are hurled. For many people, it simply isn't the cool thing to be a Christian. This is similar to idiots in high school that thing education isn't a cool thing either.
Everyone knows my website where I tell people God is real is at: www.faithclub.net

Some people are religious zealots through belief, but I'm a zealot through knowledge. I try and get to many places on the web: mass email, twitter, forums, even video games. Anywhere there is people, I'm going around telling people God is real. This is how God wanted it to happen too. Structurally it is said that God likes to see the thoughts of people as they're preached to through his followers. Yes, God reads your thoughts. And when you become a believer, you even change the way you think as to become pleasing to him. Its all pretty radical stuff, but its all good, God is generous, rewarding, loving, compassionate, and he's the only being that knows you completely. God will be with us for eternity. When you start thinking of Heaven as being a place where anything is possible, and that God is more creative than any human, and that he wants us to enjoy time, it is just more than imagination. And it is truth.
I made 10$/hr playing Asheron's Call. I tried hiring my friends, but no one wanted to give me a cut of their ebay gold. You can't hire Americans to play video games for.50$ an hour, but Chinese will. So I was honestly considering opening a gold farming business for the next big MMORPG. I guess since China banned them, I will forget about starting my own business.
Last time I complained about M$ and their H1 visas, I almost got a job interview from Microsoft. This was right about the time before people were finally acknowledging the recession. I have a degree in scientific computing from Carnegie Mellon University and I've developed software at home for over twenty years. I've almost solo coded entire MMORPGS(takes many years). I've *NEVER* in my 7 years of job searching ever found a job through online. I've been unemployed for over 6 of my past 7 years having graduated from college. I put out thousands of resumes and talked to dozens of head hunters, but apparently no one wanted to hire. I don't think my only option should be: Start your own business and basement dwell. But hey, thats just me, a spoiled American I guess.
You need to read 5-20 years in the future. Once Iran gets a nuclear weapon, they're going to give it to a rogue terrorist group and the rogue terrorist group is going to blow some city up. Iran is going to think because it didn't launch a missile that no one will figure out where the nuke came from. But many nations are not that stupid and may retaliate with nuclear weapons from the puristic thought of: If they use nukes, we use nukes back.
If after the first strike of nuclear terrorism there is no retaliation, it is the end of the world civilization because it will happen again and again until people either obey the terrorist demands or are dead. Nuclear terrorism is the easiest way that the terrorists can win. Of course they don't factor the idea that the true God is really against this kind of thing!
I want a kunfu game where my actions dodge or hit the enemies. And I don't want it to be cheesy where my moves are interpreted into a set move that could have been done with a joystick or keyboard. I want my punch's(or kick) velocity and hit placement to determine the damage dealt.
I did the math on this. Even if you make a full body suit capture or camera object recognition of the body it doesn't matter. Once you throw on the VR goggles, people may get into the game too much. People get hurt with the wii just moving their arms. Imagine the carnage of people jumping around with their eyes covered!
I was going to allow people to make their own emotes and dance animations for my game. The trick was that they'd have to be GAME MASTER approved so you don't get obscenities into the game.
You can do the same with levels to make sure they're not giving too much reward/risk.
The United States law systems cannot shut spammers down because spammer scammers are frequently out of the country. The defense department could track down offenders and knock down their door. Of course, the enemy nation may not take kindly to this.
I didn't just build my AI, its posting this comment. On the Internet, no knows you're Skynet. jk
I put off the AI because I'm not interested in programming image recognition software, and that is what is needed before the AI can take a video camera view and translate it into a computerized 3d representation.
One of the interesting things about AI is that if you look at what it will give us, you can sort of simulate some of that stuff on computer without AI doing it for you. One of the spin offs I came up with(that I'm not currently working on) is a computerized tutor. Make some math lessons that the computer teaches you like a real teacher would. If you have questions, a live tutor is there to answer you. I'm not working on this myself, but like most of my ideas, someone else will implement it and get rich. I'm just happy to see that I think up ideas that are viable.
Isn't it sort of ironic that people want perfect emulation of Atari 2600 PacMan when Atari 2600's PacMan was notoriously not like the arcade version? Even NES didn't do emulation well. I think the first well emulated game I ever played was Street Fighter 2 on SNES.
The old distribution models no longer work. So the people losing will fight it tooth and claw. There are winners and losers in a New World Order. Artists can still make money, but they'll have to play more live shows and their recorded music is nothing more than promotion(fame) for shows.
I truthfully don't care about music. What I care about is when textbooks start becoming free. It will be a revolution in education. This will be especially the case when people write things like,"The comprehensive guide to calculus as to be learned by anyone who knows how to count" The computer means it can be an advanced and interactive media session. The free distribution will mean anyone can have it in their hands.
People will still try and discover new things even if they can't get paid for the information directly.
Make a dynamic rail system, where individual cars are driven. Type in your destination, and the automated routing system in the train drives you to your destination. Its a lot like what people envision for autodriving cars, except its very easy to implement. If successful, it could spread.
For a while the United States considered many methods for stopping a hurricane including detonating an atomic bomb at the eye of it. Eventually we decided not to even care about lesser methods of stopping a hurricane because if it was successful other nations would see us as a threat. If another nation had a typhoon, hurricane or tsunami, they may blame it on the United States and their weather control voodoo.
If we drastically alter the Earth's climate not in accordance with the international community, we'll be blamed(rightly) for causing longer and harsher winters.
The terrain modification code in that game was incredible. You could create a volcano from the ground then tunnel through it and hide inside. I'm making an online fighter now, and someday I hope that I can modify my terrain like that.

Stadium?
The only time I heard the word deplane used was on Fantasy Island.
I sense DOOM.

We're losing automakers to bankruptcy. Do we really want to put restrictions on them so more of them will go bankrupt?

I have a few websites on Geocities because it is a free web hosting solution. Anyone have a suggestion as to where I should go?

I have to use a proxy since sometimes I can't get through directly connecting to Slashdot.org.
I don't see how it is sophistication as it is just a bookmark to get to Slashdot.org.
Silly law. I think most laws on the Internet are silly though.
Like if someone is breaking into military computers, they're typically doing it via another government so our laws don't apply to them.

Anyone else actually try and go to the website? I did and I got nothing.
Blue text on a black background is extremely hard to read. I get these with the comment title and score.
What happens in a black hole stays in the black hole.
brb, I'm setting my radio now to max volume and pointing it at the street. Now if everyone would just do the same...
People in their cards have been doing this for quite a while now. Typically its gangsta rap with the bass turned way up.
