Ok, so what you have to realize here is the that the lock on your door is not actually stopping anyone from coming into your house. It is a very ineffective way to secure your house. Yet you still do it day in and day out.
You know why? It's because all you really have to do is take reasonable precautions to be covered by the law, otherwise break and entry would also be legal.
Really, I think what helped the most is that our Telco's were allowed to keep monopolies for much longer than the Telco's in the US. This allowed them to build a better infrastructure.

Something else that you forgot was that MTV won't even play videos that Muchmusic will, and oh yeah, now that Much is in the States, they can't play those videos on the channels in the States... What's up with that?
It seems to me that RedHat has included this patch (which I use as well) into the kernel they send out (with 7.0 as well). I continue to use the pptp patch without issues. Just download the patch and patch it. I know that it will patch onto the 2.2.18 patch.
Here is another "experiment". There is a guy, a girl, and a computer... it is being run by CTV (in Toronto). The premise is that they are put in a loft in Toronto, with themselves (in robes), a computer with an internet feed, and a $20,000 VISA. Now they have to 'live'. There is also a live feed... so check it out here.
I think this is why they have SmartNet agreements... so that you can get exactly the support you are looking for.

Actually this was not done on South Park first, it was done on Mad TV.
