The fact that Eclipse is built on SWT and NetBeans is based on AWT itself speaks volumes.
From TFA
"I have felt that Eclipse is getting slower over the versions, while, at least the word on the street is, NetBeans has evolved in the other direction."
Maybe this is the author's perception, but again, I am not sure if NetBeans will perform faster than Eclipse with equal types of plug-ins loaded.
Almost EVERY website that deals with security have commented on M$FT and their security.
That would be a good place for Mr.Ben English to start.
Not to troll, but I think this is just another PR stunt by M$FT!
This is great news... The rovers have been going on WAAY beyond their intended lifespan...
Maybe we all can learn from the excellent design/descipline that the Engineers used to create these wonders!
Dang! Looks like its time to get rid of my SunRocket account!
Anyone know how secure are those vOIP boxes?
For e.g. I can log on to my friend's box with the default password 'welcome' (only for SunRocket).
People dont trust me when I request them to plug my USB key into their computer, to browse the web.
For e.g., I was in a Realtor's office the other day, and wanted to print out my bank statement (e-statement). I didnt want to browse using their browser, so, I requested them to accomodate my USB key, so that I can use my secure FireFox to do it. She wouldnt let me use it for 'security' reasons!
FYI -- 'Hindi' is not the only language spoken in India. A majority of people in the northern areas speak Hindi. This is not so in the south.
Also, India does not have a 'national' language.
So, Hindi is NOT synonymous with India.
Thx.
one problem with this.. is that
if you change keyboards/work on a different laptop (say dell v/s toshiba).. there are chances that your password is skewed...
As I write this, there's no mention of this on Sun's website -- neither confirmation nor denial.
I am not sure why Sun should mention this in their website! If that is indeed their strategy, why would they publicise the fact and jeopardise Java Desktop System?

I dont see them surpassing India anytime, if this is the trend... Hardware...maybe.. software ... never!
Very true!

Is there any limit on how much you can optimize.. eventually, everything will be at equillibrium...
mywdt is expensive to call countries like India. I use Reliance --> http://www.relianceindiacall.com/
Warning: Off Topic Mambo is great... I personally love the stand alone Mambo server...
Its the most comprehensive CMS out there...
It "sond"s like High School students do not "beliewe" that they need to improve on their spelling!
