Unless they can encrypt the audio up to the point that it enters the ears, it can be ripped with a soudn capture card or d/a io. Any of these schemes just causes a speed bump for creating mp3s and hurts the music industry by causing incompatible media.
Just make MP3s easier to buy. I'm more than happy supporting the artists!
I've bitched about the other versions and said they suck. But, M18 is very nice on my Win2K laptop (haven't had a chance to test linux yet). Just wanted to give a kudos when it is well deserved.
Imagine the lack of sleep after a Sony official made a comment like that. "Oh no, here come all the linux hackers!"
And I was seriously considering the CD-R camera. There's $1200 that's not going to be converted to yen!
Think this was posted awhile back, but this iron - Rowenta Sufline - was around before the iMac. I'm sure there are other similar looks. What's next? Rectangular computer copyrights? Inovate, and build a good product. If you do it well you won't need the lawyers.
Truthfully, I think he was taunting the slashdot crowd to come on over and post your flames. The more feedbacks they get the higher their ratings. Just like the Neilsen ratings. Show alot of swimsuits, flame Linux -- same thing.
I think Nike had a quote about 2nd place being 1st loser. You you can use that to claim 1st post.
;-)
Seriously though, the lawyers can screw up anything. No legal expert here, but the patents are generally written so vaguely that they simply can't keep up with the rapid change in the 'Net.
I think it was in beta before. Must be the official release. Now I want Dreamweaver for Linux!!! Then I have much less of a reason to ever type "win98" at the lilo prompt!
Tivoli is a very expensive package, which usually means that it is used in large shops that have large operating budgets. I have no hard stats, but I'd be willing to bet that it is these shops that have higher beauracracy and unwillingness to commit to an "unsupported" OS for mission critical apps yet.
I'd be very happy to just see Tivoli support Linux as an endpoint / managed node. Still an interesting development in Linux's preogress to world domination!!!
Men pay more attention to women with large breasts than women with small breasts.
They're showing that companies can actually listen to their customers. Support them and maybe other companies will take notice.

Has samba ever been such a good implementation of M$ that it's fallen victim to viruses that are targeted at one of the M$ variants?
I'm wondering if this is a sign that MS might be planning on dropping support for OS X?
Just a conspiracy theory....

Just an opinion.
