Admittedly, I don't know much about the Linux/OSS movement, but a quick look at Red Hat's website tells me that they charge for most of their stuff now.
Punishment (time in prison, fines, loss of privileges like voting or driving, etc) is meant to pay your debt to society -- not to punish you for future offenses that you may or may not commit.
I thought that prison isn't supposed to be about punishment, it's supposed to be about rehabilitation. After all, how could having 3 square meals, a cot, an education, and plenty of TV be punishment?
No. I don't agree with what my country is doing in Iraq, and if you read my post, you'll see that I never said that I did. I just don't like hypocrites.
So, are we still pretending that the reason France stayed out of Iraq had nothing to do with all of the money they had invested in the country's oil industry?
However, Bush didn't win by 3.5 million votes. He lost by about 130,000 votes. If 131,000 more people voted for Kerry in Ohio - he would be our new president-elect.
So, because Bush only won by about 130,000 in Ohio, that means he actually lost by about 130,000?
