    do you think that SCO wanted IBM to go first so that they could try to settle out of court and buy out SCO? I mean, the cost for lawyer fees is undoubtedly cheaper than the buyout cost of SCO 3 years ago. Plus any IBM discovery fees will probably paid by SCO if IBM wins at trial. What do you think?

    what's really interesting is how little storage space it will have. it will have 4 USB ports (for USB flash drives). but I am more curious about the mesh networking. this has to open some doors for grid computing or lightweight terminal access or Beowulf clusters or some kind of Google to the masses project. whadda ya think, sirs?

    I do and like it a lot. clean and easy. and it archives all my chat sessions which are then searchable in Gmail. that way I can refer to previous chats wherever I check Gmail. real nice feature unlike every other chat program that stores chat sessions locally on each machine installed. *YAWN*

    What would it take for Google to develop their own mobile phone network? I mean with all those IP6 addresses, they could offer free cell phones, use Gtalk, send ads to the display, it wouldn't be that hard to have a network of mobile phones, right? what kind of FCC regulations would they need to settle? I can't believe that no one has thought of this before or blogged about it... seriously, I'm just curious and wondering out loud. I don't have any knowledge of telcos and the like... -Mike-

    Yeah, I like to come in for 7am. Unbelievable how much better it is to have a quiet work environment for a couple of hours before everyone else appears around 9am.
