Firefox once defeated this website with ease, now it shows em all:(
Unfortunetly these days you have to take a agressive stance with popups, by constintly updating programs/plugins, or they start to show up more and more.
Heres to hoping theres a new version of firefox soon!
Maybe this is a step towards a stripped down version of windows that *gasp* installs only the bare essentials by default and lets you get what you need later!
Sounds like a good idea untill you relize somehow M$ probably figures they shoould charge MORE for a product with les features
We should ask the face on mars what his tealeaves think about this!
Its a machine that produced RANDOM numbers, any pattern or 'prediction' is something you WANT to see. I bet theres patterns that says that thier getting more funding too!
1) people arent inventory
2) You could still make a realtime program that showed any givin students last scan, or lack there of.
3) california's toll booth compant fasttrak is using rfid's right now for payment as you drive by, so the tech isnt that far away.
Dont you think the wording of the patent is a little vauge? I mean bnet, steam and gamespy arcade all have features where your friends, buddies, whatever know when your playing and where. Sounds like a case of trying to get back at a former employee to me.
Now that i think about it, doesnt the new aim client have games?
or truck drivers, who drive fo a living, alhtough some of them arent to good at it either.
It would be an interesting test to give a cell phone to three people, the sunday driver, the once a day driver, and the i drive all day, and see if there is a diffrence in distraction. Personally when im on the phone, i just stop talking if theres traffic close to me.
I take a class at school on macs, and i have to lug my mouse around all day, becuase i just CANT use a computer without at least a scroll wheel.
I understand the ease of use issue, however if it was so easy, why have 3 seperate command keys? I spend almost 20 minutes trying to figure out that little picture wanted me to do apple, control z, for something thats just alt z on pc.
I see the argument that pcs have a start button, but that does ONE thing no matter where you are, so i think its more of a conviance button.
As for cluttering context menus, i dont see the argument. If i have to go menu diving to find something i can access with just right click (take winraring a new archive for example) It takes LONGER for me to do it, and i know what im doing! Its just apple trying to distance themselves from microsoft, they know its a issue if i can plug in my intelllimouse and have it work in seconds.
If you want to say that two mouse buttons are too complicated for new users, anyone who drives pressess two seperate buttons(pedals) for diffrent things, and they cant even see the pedals (or rather shouldnt be looking at them) Anyone who cant figure out the diffrence is just behind the learning curve still, one mouse button isnt the cureall for that, i bet they still havent learned the art of picking up thier mouse.
Interesting theory, but whouldn't its transferance from atom to atom create some sort of electric 'jetstream' as it takes the path of least resitance over and over again in order to be everythings electron?
Still, nice to learn a new theory on/. that doesnt have anything to do with computers.
I cant imagine tuning THAT printer to get the perfect skintone. Hmm wheres the "pink thats darker than the last one, yet lighter than the one before that" button..
Us:
$33.99 (or £18.2086) interestingly enough it equals 26 euro almost exactly.
Europe:
£ 25.99
so its a little more but not some huge difference, but heres why i dont understand. Who makes the ink? HP if theres no region codes, who sells the ink? if there is region codes who sells the ink?
My whole point was, if its a law, why have another law stating they can unencode the data, why not simply have the publishers give them the unencrypted data to begin with?
As for how are they supposed to loan out copyrighted materals? netflix does it every day, if some upstart internet company can do it...
This seems odd to me, i mean why cant the library purchase a legit copy? Does the library of congress have the same deal? As for annoyoing teenage boys, copy protection sure annoys me, can i get a expemtion?
And what happens when the grandkids come to visit? They cant even install aim, cant download large files (whats the cutoff?) and basicilly CANT use the machine at all! So its a 500$ paperweight you can check your emails with?
$13/month? Whats that the extra 'haha i cant belive thier buying it' fee?
Use my crappy browser so you can see how much my new program is!
Forcing you to have IE 6 seems like shooting the cows after they left the barn to make sure they dont leave again. I mean if your going to make this prodict, why dont you get immuinization like most of the antispyware programs out there? I wonder if this detects the spyware aol installs, becuase that could end up with a interesting lawsuit
My father is only partially blind, so the limited software for blind people goes doubly for him, since the software designed to enlarge the screen are all horribly written, and either take up half the screen , or bog the system down to unbelivable rates. As for JAWS, your friend must be a surfing GOD, because even with me looking at the screen with JAWS on the other day i couldnt get past yahoo!
The really amazing part of this for me is with all of the software out there, you whould assume someone whould think to make something that zoomed what was under the cursor when you pressed mouse3.
If you've ever looked at a clock while gaming, you'd see that the hands move much faster. 1 hour goes by in a snap. More importantly, it's more expensive than a movie, and movies are designed for the time period, pack more into them, and are generally more interesting.
$5/hr * 2 hours =$10
$9 for MAYBE 2 hours? =$9*
So its not THAT much more expensive, not to mention the reason why time if going by so fast is the fact your having fun and actually affecting something, instead of sitting on your duff.
But as someone else mentioned the price seems a bit low, thats what the price is here, and granted theres only one in town, but that is still dirt cheap considering the 72" screens. If they can manage to keep the prophits up more power to them!
Thank god bruce is on, but im really afraid that they will go the way of the Star Wars prequels with "oh oh look at my shiney CG covering up my lack of flavor
This is like throwing the anchor out on a sinking ship, poor aol. Or rather, poor people who still use it. Oh but dont forget all the money theyve spent on advertising how they listen to all thier customers!

Who didnt see a trojan out before a program came out of beta? Me. Just another reason to install into non-standard folders.

This is definitly some publicity stunt, no one would even wait 10 days for episode 3. Why 139 days?

ac 19, come on, no one uses THAC0 anymore http://d20srd.org/srd/monsters/chimera.htm
Ya I also read his auto-biography (great book!) and he mentioned nothing of the sort.

/me looks angry /me throws a bottle a the ground
I just dont see how you can riot in any game, i just doubt theres a system fo it.
What I dont understand is how tactics like this have won him the title of richest man in america, Ive seen drug dealers with better customer relations
Im waiting for one than can shoot past my thumb.
