Some people that have posted here seem close to realizing the government is less and less the holders of power, and the corporations like google, are more and more in a position of authority.
I would merely caution against whom you anger, for in a post government corpocracy there will likely be no enforceable laws preventing corporations from seeking 'damages' from negative 'feedback'.
A good question and offered solution if I still lived in that god-forsaken state. As far as I am concerned it can pound sand too. Every pun intended.
It's been established that everyone that's crying 'the sky is falling' WANT to believe the sky is falling and refuse to examine the situation in it's entirety and place themselves at ease. I have mentally lumped them in with people that believe we are being poisoned by chem-trails and that the lunar landing was faked.
It's not worth my time validating and verifying every temp over the last 25 years ( The last time I lived in Arizona ) . Eventually, and it seems sooner than later now ( thankfully ) that the pendulum of reason is beginning to swing back towards the 'sane' side of things.
The problem is the 'scientists' have lost all credibility. As soon as it became political and paychecks began to hang in the balance the topic was lost, and added to the list of things that are not to be discussed at work.
Take a look at what Amazon is doing with AWS as an example and you will see there's real truth in that statement.
Back in 95 / 97 Windows was trying to claim that NT was 'The backbone of the Internet' when the Internet had been around some 30 years prior to Windows ever getting a TCP/IP stack.
Just because your view of the Internet has been through a windows machine with the popularity of the world wide web, doesn't mean all these Internet services are provided by Windows machines, which very bluntly, suck terribly at serving web pages much less anything else.
I have been testing Korora Linux as an alternative to Windows 10. Whether it's evil or not I have absolutely no trust in Microsoft whatsoever. It is what it is.
I would love to see what kind of safeties the Ministry of Magic tries to legislate for Wands that might fall into innocent or not so innocent muggle hands.
They talked to people and his sister confirmed she'd seen child porn.
Sis could have been pissed off, went to a few sites, downloaded a few things, then called the cops
Also, 5th Amendment. He has a RIGHT not to incriminate himself. In the scenario detailed above, he could well be innocent, but giving up the contents of the drive won't prove it. They really have no case.
I see the Tax return as a manifestation of the basic income for decades.
We all get a basic 'tax credit' based on our family, occupation, living conditions, or health applied to our Taxes. In some cases we are owed credit ( Tax Return ) or we need to contribute. ( Pay more Taxes )
It's a clever method to double our taxation while only applying to the small percentage of the budget to welfare and apply the rest to whatever the congress critters want.
This might have been a valid excuse 15 years ago. Even more so were it 20 years ago.
You haven't had to custom compile a kernel for a while unless you were doing some really new stuff.

You're not paying attention then.
Al Gore,
Also known as the "Goracle".
OK, that's not what we were discussing. ;)
The 'Feels like' Temperature is a recent addition to weather forecasts and is largely imaginary.
Are you saying that these ''Feels Like" numbers are what are being used to calculate the global temps?
I have lived in Tucson and I know what the temperature was. You can go pound sand.

1. Politics,
2. Religion,
3. The Weather.

114 is a cold day for a Tucson summer.
What are these climate-whiners on about this time?
You're confusing slashdot with 4chan.

You live in a dream world.
Because so many snowflakes feel it's necessary to legislate regret by making the inspiration for their poor decisions illegal.
I would love to see what kind of safeties the Ministry of Magic tries to legislate for Wands that might fall into innocent or not so innocent muggle hands.
Way to deliberately misunderstand the statement.
I can't help but imagine crossing the border now sounds like walking into your local 7-11.
They traced one of the accesses to this guy.
Ever been rick-rolled?
They talked to people and his sister confirmed she'd seen child porn.

Still getting laid is still getting laid. :)

America's Eulogy will read:
Democrat, Republican, Divided they fell.
Slashdot is rapidly becoming indistinguishable from 4chan.
Or ISIS
