...as long as it didn't pose any significant security risks, such as if it could only be read within a very short distance and/or if it could be disabled through some means. Just as long as it's secure and doesn't pose a health risk (which shouldn't be an issue) it'd be cool for the geek factor.
I didn't get it at first either, but then after reading the summary I assume Dapper +1 refers to one major version ahead of Dapper Drake. Why they can't just call it the next version/7.x I do not know.
What spy features would those be? The only spy feature UnrealIRCd had was usermode +I, which allowed opers to be invisible in channels, but that mode was removed from UnrealIRCd a long time ago while 3.2 was still in beta. Yeah, sure, you could write a module or something to add spy features, but then again you could modify any IRCd to add spy features, so I don't really see how that's relevant.
Even worse, the editor added that comment, as it's outside the quote. Well, at least I assume that's the ending quotation mark, seeing as there's no beginning quotation mark. It is late, maybe he's half asleep.
They also demoed their new 30" LCD, which supports resolutions up to 2560x1600. Given that a single one of these cards is only just playable at max settings in some of today's games at 1280x960, I don't see this as being too much overkill. Albeit insanely expensive, but to each his own.
