The government never does anything wrong, or stupid, or um... God I can't stop laughing. This is worth a karma burn.

I really have nothing else to say, this is just plain crap.

If only I were a mod. Informative, and just plain funny if you ask me. I've read about that entire thing going back and forth and its kinda odd. On the one hand I think that Wikipedia should be limited to who can change it. But on the other its really neat and diverse to let everybody at it.

    Oh well.. Slightly OT

You mentioned government by referring to something that should be included in all OS's, therefore some sort of regulation should be enforced. Sorry if I took it to the extreme, but honestly, people should be able to take care of themselves.

In the end, it was a mistake of implication.

I don't see this as affecting a whole lot of people, he directed it to people he disliked for whatever reason. Web-TV seems like the only thing truly vulnerable to this sort of attack(easily mind you). Anything else would be more of a click on an attachment/download type thing.

I apologize for reading into you post more than I probably should have.

How soon until we're incorporating them into our clothes?

On the other hand though, this system would be rather easy to beat, given that you could ostensibly duplicate your RFID. "How did Jimmy go to the bathroom AND stay in class??". Or just place your tag on someone you know is going to your class and skipping.

Honestly, we need better teachers, not a better way to keep the crappy ones locked in.

Lets see. My parents kinda forgot about me as I was the youngest of 5. Being the youngest of 5 with two older brothers. So they played and watched whatever they liked, and I was right there with them.

Horror movies, violent games. The works. When I was 13 I was exposed to alcohol. 16 I was exposed to pot. With other things available should I want them. With little to no influence I stayed clean, and sober. And I've yet to go on a killing spree.

Its amazing what your kids can do when you have a little bit of faith in them.

As I understand it, conspiracy is actually a more punishable offense then actually committing the crime. A buddy of mine had a weekly poker game, for which they usually bet money. Well word got out(one of the loosers squealed) and the feds investigated it. He would have gotten something like 7 years for planning to hold the card game, but only 2 years and a fine for actually playing. So the goverments stance on this: If your going to conspire actually follow through and we will give you less jail time!

One can hope that we can bring the constitution back to its former glory, and retrieve some of our rights, but in the end there is always nuclear winter right?
